Walking With Jesus
“And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself.”
Luke 24:27
Every student knows there’s something exciting about that “aha!” moment when a subject finally clicks. A confusing assignment suddenly makes sense. It changes the way you see things and makes you eager to share what you’ve learned.
That’s exactly what happened to two of Jesus’ disciples on the road to Emmaus. As they walked, a “stranger” joined with them and explained to them how all of Scripture pointed to the Messiah. Their hearts burned within them as they realized the truth. When Jesus broke bread with them, their eyes were opened. They saw who He truly is: the risen Christ!
Their first reaction? They ran to tell the others! When Jesus reveals Himself through His Word, it changes everything. The Bible isn’t just a collection of moral lessons. It’s a grand narrative that leads us to Jesus Christ, the One who has saved us from our sins. Open God’s Word eagerly; seek Him on every page. And when you see Him more clearly, how will you respond? Like the disciples, be so moved by His presence that you can’t help but share it.
