145 O my God and King, I will extol You, and will bless Your Name forever and ever.
2 I will bless You daily and praise Your Name forever and ever.
3 Great is the LORD, and most worthy to be praised. His greatness is incomprehensible.
4 Generation to generation shall praise Your works and declare Your power.
5 I will meditate on the beauty of Your glorious majesty and Your wonderful works.
6 And they shall speak of the power of Your awesome acts, and I will declare Your greatness.
7 They shall break out into the mention of Your great goodness and shall sing aloud of Your righteousness.
8 The LORD is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger, and of great mercy.
9 The LORD is good to all, and His mercies are over all His works.
10 All Your works praise You, O LORD, and Your Saints bless You.
11 They show the glory of Your Kingdom, and speak of Your power,
12 to cause His power and the glorious renown of His Kingdom to be known to the sons of men.
13 Your Kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom, and Your dominion endures throughout all ages.
14 The LORD upholds all who fall and lifts up all who are ready to fall.
15 The eyes of all wait upon You, and You give them their food in due season.
16 You open Your hand and fulfill the desire of all living things.
17 The LORD is righteous in all His ways, and Holy in all His works.
18 The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth.
19 He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He will also hear their cry and will save them.
20 The LORD preserves all those who love Him; but He will destroy the wicked.
21 My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD; and all flesh shall bless His Holy Name forever and ever. Praise the LORD.
9 “My sister, my spouse, you have wounded my heart. You have wounded my heart with one of your eyes, with a chain of your neck.
10 “My sister, my spouse, how fair is your love? How much better is your love than wine, and the savor of your ointments than all spices?
11 “Your lips, my spouse, drop as honeycombs. Honey and milk are under your tongue. And the savor of your garment is as the savor of Lebanon.
12 “My sister, my spouse, is as an enclosed garden, as a spring shut up, and a fountain sealed up.
13 “Your plants are as an orchard of pomegranates with sweet fruits: henna, spikenard,
14 “spikenard and saffron, calamus, and cinnamon, with all the trees of incense, myrrh and aloes, with all the chief spices.
15 “O fountain of the gardens! O well of living waters and the springs of Lebanon!”
16 “Arise, O North, and come, O South. Blow on my garden, that its spices may flow out. Let my well-beloved come to his garden and eat his pleasant fruit.”
5 “I have come into my garden, my sister, my spouse, I gathered my myrrh with my spice. I ate my honeycomb with my honey, I drank my wine with my milk: eat, O friends, drink, and make you merry, O well-beloved.”
33 Then they said to Him, “Why do the disciples of John often fast and pray, and of the Pharisees also, but Yours eat and drink?”
34 And He said to them, “Can you make the children of the wedding chamber fast, as long as the bridegroom is with them?
35 “But the days will come when even the bridegroom shall be taken away from them. Then shall they fast in those days.”
36 Then He also told them a parable. “No one sews a piece of a new garment into an old one. For then the new tears it, and the piece taken out of the new does not match the old.
37 “Also, no one pours new wine into old vessels. For then the new wine will break the vessels, and it will run out. And the vessels will perish.
38 “But new wine must be poured into new vessels. So that both are preserved.
39 “Also, no one who drinks old wine immediately desires new. For he says, ‘The old is better.’”
