Version
Psalm 145

145 O my God and King, I will extol You, and will bless Your Name forever and ever.

I will bless You daily and praise Your Name forever and ever.

Great is the LORD, and most worthy to be praised. His greatness is incomprehensible.

Generation to generation shall praise Your works and declare Your power.

I will meditate on the beauty of Your glorious majesty and Your wonderful works.

And they shall speak of the power of Your awesome acts, and I will declare Your greatness.

They shall break out into the mention of Your great goodness and shall sing aloud of Your righteousness.

The LORD is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger, and of great mercy.

The LORD is good to all, and His mercies are over all His works.

10 All Your works praise You, O LORD, and Your Saints bless You.

11 They show the glory of Your Kingdom, and speak of Your power,

12 to cause His power and the glorious renown of His Kingdom to be known to the sons of men.

13 Your Kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom, and Your dominion endures throughout all ages.

14 The LORD upholds all who fall and lifts up all who are ready to fall.

15 The eyes of all wait upon You, and You give them their food in due season.

16 You open Your hand and fulfill the desire of all living things.

17 The LORD is righteous in all His ways, and Holy in all His works.

18 The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth.

19 He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He will also hear their cry and will save them.

20 The LORD preserves all those who love Him; but He will destroy the wicked.

21 My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD; and all flesh shall bless His Holy Name forever and ever. Praise the LORD.

Song of Solomon 4:1-8

“Behold, you are fair, my love. Behold, you are fair! Your eyes are like doves. Among your locks your hair is like the flock of goats which look down from the mountain of Gilead.

“Your teeth are like a flock of sheep in good order, which go up from the washing, from which each one brings out twins. And none is barren among them.

“Your lips are like a thread of scarlet. And your talk is comely. Your temples are as a piece of a pomegranate within your locks.

“Your neck is as the tower of David, built for defense. A thousand shields hang in it, and all the targets of the strong men.

“Your two breasts are as two fawns, twins of a gazelle, feeding among the lilies.

“Until the day breaks and the shadows fly away, I will go into the mountain of myrrh, and to the mountain of incense.

“You are all fair, my love, and there is no spot in you.

“Come with me from Lebanon, my spouse, with me from Lebanon. And look from the top of Amana, from the top of Senir and Hermon, from the dens of the lions, and from the mountains of the leopards.

1 Corinthians 1:3-17

Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

I thank my God always on your behalf for the grace of God which is given you in Jesus Christ.

That in all things you are made rich in Him in every expression and in all knowledge.

As the testimony of Jesus Christ has been confirmed in you.

So that you are not deficient in any gift, awaiting the unveiling of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Who shall also confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

God is faithful; by Whom you are called to the fellowship of his son Jesus Christ our Lord.

10 Now I urge you, brothers, by the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak one thing, and that there be no dissensions among you. But be joined together in one mind, and in one judgment.

11 For it has been declared to me, my brothers, by those who are of the house of Chloe, that there is strife among you.

12 Now I say this: that each one of you says, “I am Paul’s”, and “I am Apollos’s”, and “I am Cephas’s” and “I am Christ’s”.

13 Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized into the name of Paul?

14 I thank God that I baptized none of you, but rather Crispus and Gaius,

15 lest anyone should say that I had baptized into my own name.

16 Now I also baptized the household of Stephanas. But I do not know whether I baptized any other besides that.

17 For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the Gospel (not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of no effect).
