And so it is written: “The first man Adam was made a living soul.” The last Adam was made a quickening Spirit.
So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
So it is written [in Scripture], “The first man, Adam, became a living soul (an individual);” the last Adam (Christ) became a life-giving spirit [restoring the dead to life].
Thus it is written, The first man Adam became a living being (an individual personality); the last Adam (Christ) became a life-giving Spirit [restoring the dead to life].
And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening Spirit.
So it is written, The first man Adam became a living being; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
So it is also written, The first human, Adam, became a living person, and the last Adam became a spirit that gives life.
In fact, the Tanakh says so: Adam, the first man, became a living human being; but the last “Adam” has become a life-giving Spirit.
The first man was named Adam, and the Scriptures tell us that he was a living person. But Jesus, who may be called the last Adam, is a life-giving spirit.
Thus also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul; the last Adam a quickening spirit.
So also it has been written [in Gen 2:7], “The first man, Adam, became a living soul”. The Last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
The first man Adam was made into a living soul; the last Adam into a quickening spirit.
As the Scriptures say, “The first man, Adam, became a living person.” But the last Adam is a life-giving spirit.
It says in the Bible, ‘The first man, Adam, became a person who received life.’ But Christ is like the last Adam. He is a spirit who gives life to people.
So also it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living natural being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
Thus it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
Thus it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
[L So also] It is written in the Scriptures: “The first man, Adam, became a living ·person [soul; Gen. 2:7].” But the last Adam [C Christ] became a spirit that gives life.
As it is also written, The first man Adam was made a living soul: and the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
This is what Scripture says: “The first man, Adam, became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
For the scripture says, “The first man, Adam, was created a living being”; but the last Adam is the life-giving Spirit.
So it is written: The first man Adam became a living being; the last Adam became a life-giving Spirit.
It is written in the Scriptures: “The first man became a living person.” But the last Adam became a spirit that gives life.
This, indeed, is what is written: “The first man, Adam, became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
It is written, moreover, that: ‘The first man Adam became a living being’.
And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a life-giving Spirit.
And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
So also it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living soul.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
Thus also it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living soul”; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
The Scriptures tell us that the first man, Adam, was given a natural, human body but Christ is more than that, for he was life-giving Spirit.
We follow this sequence in Scripture: The First Adam received life, the Last Adam is a life-giving Spirit. Physical life comes first, then spiritual—a firm base shaped from the earth, a final completion coming out of heaven. The First Man was made out of earth, and people since then are earthy; the Second Man was made out of heaven, and people now can be heavenly. In the same way that we’ve worked from our earthy origins, let’s embrace our heavenly ends.
So it is written, “The first man Adam was made a living soul.” The last Adam was made a life-giving spirit.
So also it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living soul.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
This is what Scripture says: “The first man, Adam, became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
So, too, it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living being,” the last Adam a life-giving spirit.
So also it is written: “The first man, Adam, became a living person.” The last Adam was a life-giving spirit.
So also it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living soul.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
As it is written, the first man, Adam, became a living being; the last Adam has become a lifegiving spirit.
It is written in the Scriptures: “The first man, Adam, became a living person.” But the last Adam became a spirit that gives life.
So also it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living person”; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
It is written, “The first man Adam became a living person.” (Genesis 2:7) The last Adam became a spirit that gives life.
So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.
So it is written: ‘The first man Adam became a living being’; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.
And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
The Holy Writings say, “The first man, Adam, became a living soul.” But the last Adam (Christ) is a life-giving Spirit.
The Scriptures tell us, “The first man, Adam, became a living person.” But the last Adam—that is, Christ—is a life-giving Spirit.
There is a natural body and there is a spiritual body; as it is written, the first man Adam was made a living soul, and the last Adam was made a life-giving spirit.
Thus it is written, ‘The first man, Adam, became a living being’; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
Thus it is written, ‘The first man, Adam, became a living being’; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
Thus it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living being”; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
Thus it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living being”; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
That’s what it means when the Bible says, “The first man, Adam, became a living natural being”; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
So, also, it has been written, VAY’HI HAADAM L’NEFESH CHAYYAH ("And the [first] Man became a living soul," BERESHIS 2:7); but the Adam haacharon (last Adam) became a Ruach mechayyeh (Yn 5:26).
As it is also written, “The first man, Adam, was made a living soul.” And the last Adam was made a life-giving Spirit.
Thus it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
Thus it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
So also it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living soul.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
That’s why it was written, “The first man Adam became a living soul”; the last Adam has become a life-giving spirit.
So also it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living soul.” Genesis 2:7 The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
The holy writings say, `The first man, Adam, was of this world! The last Adam [Christ] is a Spirit who gives life.'
as it is written, The first man Adam was made into a soul living, the last Adam into a spirit quickening.
so also it hath been written, `The first man Adam became a living creature,' the last Adam [is] for a life-giving spirit,
