Romans 7:10

and the commandment, which was ordained to bring life, I found to be unto death.
and the commandment, which was unto life, this I found to be unto death:
And the very commandment which was intended to bring life, actually proved to bring death for me.
And the very legal ordinance which was designed and intended to bring life actually proved [to mean to me] death.
And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.
and I died. The commandment that was meant for life resulted in death for me.
and I died. So the commandment that was intended to give life brought death.
and I died. The commandment that was intended to bring me life was found to be bringing me death!
and I died. The very command that was supposed to bring life to me, instead brought death.
And the commandment, which [was] for life, was found, [as] to me, itself [to be] unto death:
and I died. And the commandment for life— this was found in me to be for death.
And I died. And the commandment that was ordained to life, the same was found to be unto death to me.
and I died spiritually. The command was meant to bring life, but for me it brought death.
As a result, I became separate from God, as if I had died. So the command that should have brought life to me brought death instead.
and I died. This commandment that was intended to result in life actually resulted in death for me.
The very commandment that promised life proved to be death to me.
The very commandment that promised life proved to be death to me.
The command was meant to bring life, but for me it brought death.
But I died: and the same commandment which was ordained unto life, was found to be unto me unto death.
and I died. I found that the commandment which was intended to bring me life actually brought me death.
and I died. And the commandment which was meant to bring life, in my case brought death.
and I died. The commandment that was meant for life resulted in death for me.
And I died because of sin. The command was meant to bring life, but for me that command brought death.
and I died. I found that the very rule that was intended to bring life actually brought death.
But the sin in me, finding in the commandment an opportunity to express itself, stimulated all my covetous desires. For sin, in the absence of the Law, has no chance to function technically as “sin”. As long, then, as I was without the Law I was, spiritually speaking, alive. But when the commandment arrived, sin sprang to life and I “died”. The commandment, which was meant to be a direction to life, I found was a sentence to death. The commandment gave sin an opportunity, and without my realising what was happening, it “killed” me.
And I found that the same commandment, which was unto life, was mortal unto me.
And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.
And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.
and this commandment, which was to lead to life, was found to lead to death for me.
and I died, and this commandment which was to lead to life was found with respect to me to lead to death.
So as far as I was concerned, the good law which was supposed to show me the way of life resulted instead in my being given the death penalty.
Don’t you remember how it was? I do, perfectly well. The law code started out as an excellent piece of work. What happened, though, was that sin found a way to pervert the command into a temptation, making a piece of “forbidden fruit” out of it. The law code, instead of being used to guide me, was used to seduce me. Without all the paraphernalia of the law code, sin looked pretty dull and lifeless, and I went along without paying much attention to it. But once sin got its hands on the law code and decked itself out in all that finery, I was fooled, and fell for it. The very command that was supposed to guide me into life was cleverly used to trip me up, throwing me headlong. So sin was plenty alive, and I was stone dead. But the law code itself is God’s good and common sense, each command sane and holy counsel.
And the commandment, which was intended for life, proved to be death in me.
and I died. · I found that the very commandment that promised life brought death to me!
and I died. I found that the commandment which was intended to bring me life actually brought me death.
then I died, and the commandment that was for life turned out to be death for me.
and this commandment, which was to result in life, proved to result in death for me;
and this commandment, which was to result in life, proved to result in death for me;
and I died. The commandment that was for life proved to be death for me.
and I died. The command was meant to bring life, but for me it brought death.
and I died. So I found that the very commandment that was intended to bring life brought death!
I found that the commandment that was supposed to bring life actually brought death.
I found that the very commandment that was intended to bring life actually brought death.
I found that the very commandment that was intended to bring life actually brought death.
And the commandment, which was to bring life, I found to bring death.
The Law was supposed to give me new life. Instead, it gave me death.
and I died. So I discovered that the law’s commands, which were supposed to bring life, brought spiritual death instead.
And the very same commandment that was ordained for life, was found to be to me an occasion of death.
and I died, and the very commandment that promised life proved to be death to me.
and I died, and the very commandment that promised life proved to be death to me.
and I died, and the very commandment that promised life proved to be death to me.
and I died, and the very commandment that promised life proved to be death to me.
and I died. The commandment which pointed to life turned out, in my case, to bring death.
and I died. The mitzvoh (commandment) intended as the Derech L’Chayyim (Way to Life) proved for me a means to mavet (death).
And this commandment, which was life to me, was found to be death.
the very commandment which promised life proved to be death to me.
the very commandment which promised life proved to be death to me.
and I died. The commandment meant for life was found to cause death.
This commandment was supposed to bring life; but in my experience, it brought death.
The commandment which was for life, this I found to be for death;
The same law which was meant to make a person live, made me die.
and this commandment [and the commandment] that was to life, was found to me, to be to death.
and the command that [is] for life, this was found by me for death;
