When Jesus knew in Himself that His disciples murmured at it, He said unto them, “Doth this offend you?
But Jesus knowing in himself that his disciples murmured at this, said unto them, Doth this cause you to stumble?
But Jesus, aware that His disciples were complaining about it, asked them, “Does this cause you to stumble and take offense?
But Jesus, knowing within Himself that His disciples were complaining and protesting and grumbling about it, said to them: Is this a stumbling block and an offense to you? [Does this upset and displease and shock and scandalize you?]
When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?
Jesus knew that the disciples were grumbling about this and he said to them, “Does this offend you?
But Yeshua, aware that his talmidim were grumbling about this, said to them, “This is a trap for you?
Jesus knew that his disciples were grumbling. So he asked, “Does this bother you?
But Jesus, knowing in himself that his disciples murmur concerning this, said to them, Does this offend you?
But Jesus, knowing in Himself that His disciples are grumbling about this, said to them, “Does this offend you?
Many therefore of his disciples, hearing it, said: This saying is hard, and who can hear it?
Jesus already knew that his followers were complaining about this. So he said, “Is this teaching a problem for you?
But Jesus, knowing in himself that his disciples were grumbling about this, said to them, “Do you take offense at this?
But Jesus, knowing in himself that his disciples were grumbling about this, said to them, “Do you take offence at this?
Knowing that his ·followers [disciples] were ·complaining [grumbling] about this, Jesus said to them, “Does this teaching ·bother [offend] you?
But Jesus knowing in himself, that his disciples murmured at this, said unto them, Doth this offend you?
Jesus was aware that his disciples were criticizing his message. So Jesus asked them, “Did what I say make you lose faith?
Without being told, Jesus knew that they were grumbling about this, so he said to them, “Does this make you want to give up?
Jesus, knowing in Himself that His disciples were complaining about this, asked them, “Does this offend you?
Jesus knew that his followers were complaining about this. So he said, “Does this teaching bother you?
But Jesus, knowing within himself that his disciples were grumbling about this, asked them, “Does this offend you?
Then Jesus, knowing intuitively that his disciples were complaining about what he had just said, went on, “Is this too much for you? Then what would happen if you were to see the Son of Man going up to the place where he was before? It is the Spirit which gives life. The flesh will not help you. The things which I have told you are spiritual and are life. But some of you will not believe me.” For Jesus knew from the beginning which of his followers did not trust him and who was the man who would betray him. Then he added, “This is why I said to you, ‘No one can come to me unless my Father puts it into his heart to come.’”
But Jesus, knowing in himself that his disciples murmured at it, said unto them, Does this offend you?

But Jesus, because he knew within himself that his disciples were grumbling about this, said to them, “Does this cause you to be offended?
Jesus knew within himself that his disciples were complaining and said to them, “Does this offend you?
Jesus sensed that his disciples were having a hard time with this and said, “Does this throw you completely? What would happen if you saw the Son of Man ascending to where he came from? The Spirit can make life. Sheer muscle and willpower don’t make anything happen. Every word I’ve spoken to you is a Spirit-word, and so it is life-making. But some of you are resisting, refusing to have any part in this.” (Jesus knew from the start that some weren’t going to risk themselves with him. He knew also who would betray him.) He went on to say, “This is why I told you earlier that no one is capable of coming to me on his own. You get to me only as a gift from the Father.”
Knowing in Himself that His disciples murmured about it, Jesus said to them, “Does this offend you?
But Jesus, aware · that his disciples were grumbling about it, · said to them, “Does this offend you?
Yeshua was aware that his disciples were criticizing his message. So Yeshua asked them, “Did what I say make you lose faith?

But Jesus knew that his disciples did not like what he said. He asked, `Is this hard for you?
But Jesus witting at himself, that his disciples grumbled of this thing [Forsooth Jesus witting with himself, for his disciples grutched of this thing], said to them, This thing offendeth you?
And Jesus having known in himself that his disciples are murmuring about this, said to them, `Doth this stumble you?
