Galatians 4:18
But it is good to be zealously sought after, always in a good thing, and not only when I am present with you.

Now it is always pleasant to be eagerly sought after [provided that it is] for a good purpose, and not just when I am with you [seeking you myself—but beware of the others doing it].
It is always a fine thing [of course] to be zealously sought after [as you are, provided that it is] for a good purpose and done by reason of purity of heart and life, and not just when I am present with you!
But it is good to be zealously affected always in a good thing, and not only when I am present with you.
But it is always good to be pursued in a good manner—and not just when I am with you.
However, it’s always good to have people concerned about you with good intentions, and not just when I’m there with you.
To be zealous is good, provided always that the cause is good. Indeed, whether I am present with you or not,
It is always good to give your attention to something worthwhile, even when I am not with you.
But [it is] right to be zealous at all times in what is right, and not only when I am present with you—
Now it is good to be zealously-sought in a commendable thing at-all-times, and not only during my being present with you—
But be zealous for that which is good in a good thing always: and not only when I am present with you.
It is good for you to work hard, of course, if it is for something good. That’s something you should do whether I am there or not.
It is good for someone to try to please other people if they really want to help them. That is true all the time, not only when I am there with you.
But it is always a good thing to have someone eager in a good way—not just when I am present with you.
It is always good to be made much of for a good purpose, and not only when I am present with you,

It is good ·for people to show interest in you [or to be passionate/enthusiastic; L to be zealous/the object of zeal], but only if their ·purpose [intention] is good. This is always true, not just when I am with you.
But it is a good thing to love earnestly always in a good thing, and not only when I am present with you,
(Devotion to a good cause is always good, even when I’m not with you.)
Now, it is good to have such a deep interest if the purpose is good—this is true always, and not merely when I am with you.
Now it is always good to be enthusiastic about good—and not just when I am with you.
It is good for people to show interest in you, but only if their purpose is good. This is always true. It is true when I am with you and when I am away.
(Now it is always good to be devoted to a good cause, even when I am not with you.)
Oh, I know how keen these men are to win you over, but can’t you see that it is for their own ends? They would like to see you and me separated altogether, and have you all to themselves. Don’t think I’m jealous—it is a grand thing that men should be keen to win you, whether I’m there or not, provided it is for the truth. Oh, my dear children, I feel the pangs of childbirth all over again till Christ be formed within you, and how I long to be with you now! Perhaps I could then alter my tone to suit your mood. As it is, I honestly don’t know how to deal with you.
It is good to be always zealous to do good, and not only when I am present with you.

It is a good thing to be passionate in doing good, but not just when I am in your presence. Can’t you continue the same concern for both my person and my message when I am away from you that you had when I was with you? Do you know how I feel right now, and will feel until Christ’s life becomes visible in your lives? Like a mother in the pain of childbirth. Oh, I keep wishing that I was with you. Then I wouldn’t be reduced to this blunt, letter-writing language out of sheer frustration.
But it is good to be zealous in a good manner always and not only when I am present with you.
Now to be zealous for a good purpose is always good, · not just when I am present with you.

Listen, there’s nothing wrong with zeal when you’re zealous for God’s good purpose. And what’s more, you don’t have to wait for me to be with you to seek the good.
But it is always good to be zealous in a good cause, and not only when I am present with you.
Of course, it is good if someone tries to help you, but only if it is for a good reason. It is always good, not only when I am with you.
But follow ye the good evermore in good, and not only when I am present with you.
