I speak to shame you! Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you, no, not one, who shall be able to judge between his brethren?
I say this to move you to shame. What, cannot there be found among you one wise man who shall be able to decide between his brethren,
I say this to your shame. Can it be that there is not one wise man among you who [is governed by integrity and] will be able and competent to decide [private disputes] between his fellow believers,
I say this to move you to shame. Can it be that there really is not one man among you who [in action is governed by piety and integrity and] is wise and competent enough to decide [the private grievances, disputes, and quarrels] between members of the brotherhood,
I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?
I say this to your shame! Can it be that there is not one wise person among you who is able to arbitrate between fellow believers?
I’m saying this because you should be ashamed of yourselves! Isn’t there one person among you who is wise enough to pass judgment between believers?
I say, shame on you! Can it be that there isn’t one person among you wise enough to be able to settle a dispute between brothers?
I say this to your shame. Aren't any of you wise enough to act as a judge between one follower and another?
I speak to you [to put you] to shame. Thus there is not a wise person among you, not even one, who shall be able to decide between his brethren!
I say this to your shame. So is there not among you anyone wise who will be able to discern between his brother and this brother?—
I speak to your shame. Is it so that there is not among you any one wise man, that is able to judge between his brethren?
I say this to shame you. Surely there is someone in your group wise enough to judge a complaint between two believers.
I say this so that you will feel ashamed. There is surely a wise person in your group who could decide quarrels between yourselves.
I say this to make you feel ashamed. Is it really the case that there is not one wise man among you who would be able to decide a dispute between his brothers?
I say this to your shame. Can it be that there is no one among you wise enough to settle a dispute between the brothers,
I say this to your shame. Can it be that there is no one among you wise enough to settle a dispute between the brothers,
I say this to shame you. ·Surely there is someone [L Is there no one…?] among you wise enough to judge a ·complaint [dispute; conflict] between ·believers [L a brother].
I speak it to your shame. Is it so that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one, that can judge between his brethren?
You should be ashamed of yourselves! Don’t you have at least one wise person who is able to settle disagreements between believers?
Shame on you! Surely there is at least one wise person in your fellowship who can settle a dispute between fellow Christians.
I say this to your shame! Can it be that there is not one wise person among you who is able to arbitrate between his brothers?
I say this to shame you. Surely there is someone among you wise enough to judge a complaint between two brothers in Christ.
I say this to make you feel ashamed. Has it come to this, that there is not one person among you who is wise enough to settle disagreements between brothers?
When any of you has a grievance against another, aren’t you ashamed to bring the matter to be settled before a pagan court instead of before the church? Don’t you know that Christians will one day judge the world? And if you are to judge the world do you consider yourselves incapable of settling such infinitely smaller matters? Don’t you also know that we shall judge the very angels themselves—how much more then matters of this world only! In any case, if you find you have to judge matters of this world, why choose as judges those who count for nothing in the church? I say this deliberately to rouse your sense of shame. Are you really unable to find among your number one man with enough sense to decide a dispute between one and another of you, or must one brother resort to law against another and that before those who have no faith in Christ! It is surely obvious that something must be seriously wrong in your church for you to be having lawsuits at all. Why not let yourself be wronged or cheated? For when you go to law against your brother you yourself do him wrong, for you cheat him of Christian love and forgiveness.
I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brothers?
I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?
I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?
I say this to your shame. Is it really this way: there is not one wise man among you who will be able to pass judgment between his brothers?
I say this to your shame. So is there not anyone wise among you who will be able to render a decision between his brothers?
I am trying to make you ashamed. Isn’t there anyone in all the church who is wise enough to decide these arguments?
I say this as bluntly as I can to wake you up to the stupidity of what you’re doing. Is it possible that there isn’t one levelheaded person among you who can make fair decisions when disagreements and disputes come up? I don’t believe it. And here you are taking each other to court before people who don’t even believe in God! How can they render justice if they don’t believe in the God of justice?
I speak to your shame. Is it true that there is not even one wise man among you who shall be able to judge between his brothers?
I say this to your shame! Is there no one among you wise enough to settle a dispute between · his brothers,
You should be ashamed of yourselves! Don’t you have at least one wise person who is able to settle disagreements between believers?
I say this to shame you. Can it be that there is not one among you wise enough to be able to settle a case between brothers?
I say this to your shame. Is it so, that there is not among you anyone wise who will be able to decide between his brothers and sisters,
I say this to your shame. Is it so, that there is not among you one wise man who will be able to decide between his brethren,
I write this to make you ashamed. Is it really possible that there is no one among you who is wise enough to mediate a dispute between brethren?
I say this to shame you. Surely there is someone among you wise enough to judge a complaint between believers.
I say this to your shame! Is there no one among you wise enough to settle disputes between fellow Christians?

I say this to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you, not even one, who will be able to judge between his brethren?
You should be ashamed! Is it true that there is not one person wise enough in your church to decide who is right when people argue?
I am saying this to shame you. Isn’t there anyone in all the church who is wise enough to decide these issues?
This I say to your shame. Is there really no wise man among you? What, no one at all who can judge between brother and brother?
I say this to your shame. Can it be that there is no one among you wise enough to decide between one believer and another,
I say this to your shame. Can it be that there is no one among you wise enough to decide between one believer and another,
I say this to your shame. Can it be that there is no one among you wise enough to decide between one believer and another,

I’m saying this to bring shame on you. Is it really true that there is no wise person among you who is able to decide between one Christian and another?
I speak to your bushah (shame). Is there not among you even one chacham (wise man) who will be able to sit in mishpat between his Achim b’Moshiach?
I speak this to your shame. Is it so that there is not a wise man among you? No, not one, who can judge between his brothers?

I say this to put you to shame! Isn’t there even one wise man among you who will be able to settle disputes between his brethren?
My words should embarrass you. Is it possible that you have no one among you with the wisdom to mediate between two siblings?
I say this to move you to shame. Isn’t there even one wise man among you who would be able to decide between his brothers?
Shame on you! Are none of you wise enough to judge between two Christian brothers?
I say to make you ashamed. So there is not any wise man, that may deem betwixt a brother and his brother; [I say to your shame. So there is not any wise man, that may deem between a brother and his brother;]
unto your shame I speak: so there is not among you one wise man, not even one, who shall be able to discern in the midst of his brethren!
