  219. For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. (For many a time it had seized him. He was kept under guard and bound with chains and shackles, but he would break the bonds and be driven by the demon into the desert.)
  220. Then the demons came out of the man and entered the pigs, and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and drowned.

  236. And if Satan also is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? For you say that I cast out demons by Beelzebul.
  237. And if I cast out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they will be your judges.
  238. But if it is by the finger of God that I cast out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

  241. You fools! Did not he who made the outside make the inside also?
  242. I tell you, you will never get out until you have paid the very last penny.”

  287. You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
  288. Are you greater than our father Abraham, who died? And the prophets died! Who do you make yourself out to be?”

  390. But Paul said to them, “They have beaten us publicly, uncondemned, men who are Roman citizens, and have thrown us into prison; and do they now throw us out secretly? No! Let them come themselves and take us out.”

  410. Now when Paul perceived that one part were Sadducees and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, “Brothers, I am a Pharisee, a son of Pharisees. It is with respect to the hope and the resurrection of the dead that I am on trial.”

  462. among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.
  463. Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.
