And He said unto them, “Have ye never read what David did when he was in need and hungered, he and they that were with him?
And he said unto them, Did ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was hungry, he, and they that were with him?
Jesus said to them, “Have you never read [in the Scriptures] what David did when he was in need and was hungry, he and his companions;
And He said to them, Have you never [even] read what David did when he was in need and was hungry, he and those who were accompanying him?—
And he said unto them, Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him?
He said to them, “Haven’t you ever read what David did when he was in need, when he and those with him were hungry?
He said to them, “Haven’t you ever read what David did when he and those with him were hungry and needed food?
Jesus answered, “Haven’t you read what David did when he and his followers were hungry and in need?
And *he* said to them, Have ye never read what David did when he had need and hungered, *he* and those with him,
And He says to them, “Did you never read [in 1 Sam 21:1-6] what David did when he had a need and was hungry, he and the ones with him—
And he said to them: Have you never read what David did when he had need, and was hungry himself, and they that were with him?
Jesus answered, “You have read what David did when he and the people with him were hungry and needed food.
And he said to them, “Have you never read what David did, when he was in need and was hungry, he and those who were with him:
And he said to them, “Have you never read what David did, when he was in need and was hungry, he and those who were with him:
Jesus answered, “Have you never read what David did when he and ·those with him [his companions] were hungry and needed food [1 Sam. 21:1–6]?
And he said to them, Have ye never read what David did when he had need, and was an hungered, both he, and they that were with him?
Jesus asked them, “Haven’t you ever read what David did when he and his men were in need and were hungry?
Jesus answered, “Have you never read what David did that time when he needed something to eat? He and his men were hungry,
He said to them, “Have you never read what David and those who were with him did when he was in need and hungry—
Jesus answered, “You have read what David did when he and those with him were hungry and needed food.
He asked them, “Haven’t you read what David did when he and his companions were hungry and in need?
Then he spoke to them. “Have you never read what David did, when he and his companions were hungry? Haven’t you read how he went into the house of God when Abiathar was High Priest, and ate the presentation loaves, which nobody is allowed to eat, except the priests—and gave some of the bread to his companions? The Sabbath,” he continued, “was made for man’s sake; man was not made for the sake of the Sabbath. That is why the Son of Man is master even of the Sabbath.”
And he said unto them, Have ye never read what David did when he had need and was hungry, he and those that were with him?

And he said unto them, Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him?
And he said to them, “Have you never read what David did when he had need and he and those who were with him were hungry—
But Jesus replied, “Didn’t you ever hear about the time King David and his companions were hungry, and he went into the house of God—Abiathar was high priest then—and they ate the special bread only priests were allowed to eat? That was against the law too.
Jesus said, “Really? Haven’t you ever read what David did when he was hungry, along with those who were with him? How he entered the sanctuary and ate fresh bread off the altar, with the Chief Priest Abiathar right there watching—holy bread that no one but priests were allowed to eat—and handed it out to his companions?” Then Jesus said, “The Sabbath was made to serve us; we weren’t made to serve the Sabbath. The Son of Man is no lackey to the Sabbath. He’s in charge!”
He said to them, “Have you never read what David did, when he and those who were with him were in need and hungry:

Jesus answered, “Have you never read what David did when he and those with him were hungry and needed food?

He answered, “Haven’t you ever read about what David did? He and his men were hungry. They needed food.
He answered, “Have you never read what David did when he and his companions were hungry and in need?
He answered, ‘Have you never read what David did when he and his companions were hungry and in need?
But He said to them, “Have you never read what David did when he was in need and hungry, he and those with him:
He said to them, “Have you not read what David did when he and his men were hungry?
Jesus said to them, “Haven’t you ever read in the Scriptures what David did when he and his companions were hungry?
And he said to them, “Have you never read what David did when he and his companions were hungry and in need of food?
And he said to them, ‘Have you never read what David did when he and his companions were hungry and in need of food?

‘Haven’t you ever read what David did,’ replied Jesus, ‘when he was in difficulties, and he and his men got hungry?
And Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach says to them, Have you never read in the Tanakh what Dovid HaMelech did when he was in need and he was hungry, he and the ones with him?
And he said to them, “Have you never read what David did, when he was in need and was hungry, he and those who were with him:
And he said to them, “Have you never read what David did, when he was in need and was hungry, he and those who were with him:
And He said to them, “Haven’t you ever read what David did when he was in need, and he and those with him became hungry?
Jesus (turning toward the Pharisees): Do you remember the story about what King David and his followers did when they were hungry and had nothing to eat? They said nothing, so He continued.
He said to them, “Did you never read what David did, when he had need, and was hungry—he, and those who were with him?
Jesus answered them, `Have you not read what David did? He and his men who were with him were hungry.
And he said to them, Read ye never what David did, when he had need, and he hungered, and they that were with him?
And he said to them, `Did ye never read what David did, when he had need and was hungry, he and those with him?
