And He said unto another, “Follow Me.” But he said, “Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.”
And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.
He said to another, “Follow Me [accepting Me as Master and Teacher].” But he said, “Lord, allow me first to go and bury my father.”
And He said to another, Become My disciple, side with My party, and accompany Me! But he replied, Lord, permit me first to go and bury (await the death of) my father.
And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.
Then Jesus said to someone else, “Follow me.” He replied, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.”
To another he said, “Follow me!” but the man replied, “Sir, first let me go away and bury my father.”
Jesus told someone else to come with him. But the man said, “Lord, let me wait until I bury my father.”
And he said to another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, allow me to go first and bury my father.
And He said to another, “Be following Me”. But the one said, “Master, permit me, having gone, to first bury my father”.
But he said to another: Follow me. And he said: Lord, suffer me first to go, and to bury my father.
Jesus said to another man, “Follow me!” But the man said, “Lord, let me go and bury my father first.”
To another he said, “Follow me.” But he said, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.”

Another time, when he invited a man to come with him and to be his disciple, the man agreed—but wanted to wait until his father’s death.
He said, “Certainly, but first excuse me for a couple of days, please. I have to make arrangements for my father’s funeral.”
He said to another man, “Follow Me.” But he said, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.”
He said · to another person, “Follow me.” But that one said, “Lord, let me first go and bury · my father.”
He told another man, “Follow me!” But the man said, “Sir, first let me go to bury my father.”
