Luke 12:29
Print
“And seek ye not what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubting mind.
And seek not ye what ye shall eat, and what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
So as for you, do not seek what you will eat and what you will drink; nor have an anxious and unsettled mind.
And you, do not seek [by meditating and reasoning to inquire into] what you are to eat and what you are to drink; nor be of anxious (troubled) mind [unsettled, excited, worried, and in suspense];
And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
Don’t strive for what you should eat and what you should drink, and don’t be anxious.
Don’t chase after what you will eat and what you will drink. Stop worrying.
“In other words, don’t strive after what you will eat and what you will drink — don’t be anxious.
Don't keep worrying about having something to eat or drink.
And *ye*, seek not what ye shall eat or what ye shall drink, and be not in anxiety;
And don’t you be seeking what you may eat and what you may drink. And do not be unsettled.
And seek not you what you shall eat, or what you shall drink: and be not lifted up on high.
“So don’t always think about what you will eat or what you will drink. Don’t worry about it.
Do not always be thinking about the food and drink that you need. Do not worry about things like that.
Do not constantly chase after what you will eat or what you will drink. Do not be worried about it.
And do not seek what you are to eat and what you are to drink, nor be worried.
And do not seek what you are to eat and what you are to drink, nor be worried.
Don’t always think about what you will eat or what you will drink, and don’t keep worrying.
Therefore ask not what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither hang you in suspense.
“Don’t concern yourself about what you will eat or drink, and quit worrying about these things.
“So don't be all upset, always concerned about what you will eat and drink.
Don’t keep striving for what you should eat and what you should drink, and don’t be anxious.
Don’t always think about what you will eat or what you will drink. Don’t worry about it.
“So stop concerning yourselves about what you will eat or what you will drink, and stop being distressed,
And then he added to the disciples, “That is why I tell you, don’t worry about life, wondering what you are going to eat. And stop bothering about what clothes you will need. Life is much more important than food, and the body more important than clothes. Think of the ravens. They neither sow nor reap, and they have neither store nor barn, but God feeds them. And how much more valuable do you think you are than birds? Can any of you make himself an inch taller however much he worries about it? And if you can’t manage a little thing like this, why do you worry about anything else? Think of the wild flowers, and how they neither work nor weave. Yet I tell you that Solomon in all his glory was never arrayed like one of these. If God so clothes the grass, which flowers in the field today and is burnt in the stove tomorrow, is he not much more likely to clothe you, you little-faiths? You must not set your heart on what you eat or drink, nor must you live in a state of anxiety. The whole heathen world is busy about getting food and drink, and your Father knows well enough that you need such things. No, set your heart on his kingdom, and your food and drink will come as a matter of course.”
And seek not what ye shall eat or what ye shall drink, neither be ye high minded.
And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
And do not seek what you will eat and what you will drink, and do not keep worrying.
And you, do not consider what you will eat and what you will drink, and do not be anxious.
And don’t worry about food—what to eat and drink; don’t worry at all that God will provide it for you.
“What I’m trying to do here is get you to relax, not be so preoccupied with getting so you can respond to God’s giving. People who don’t know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how he works. Steep yourself in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met. Don’t be afraid of missing out. You’re my dearest friends! The Father wants to give you the very kingdom itself.
And do not seek what you will eat or what you will drink, nor be of an anxious mind.
And you, do not have as an overriding concern what to eat and what to drink; · do not let such things bother you.
“Don’t concern yourself about what you will eat or drink, and quit worrying about these things.
As for you, do not seek what you are to eat and what you are to drink, and do not worry anymore.
And do not seek what you are to eat and what you are to drink, and do not keep worrying.
And do not seek what you will eat and what you will drink, and do not keep worrying.
“Hence, do not be greatly concerned about what you are to eat and what you are to drink. Do not worry.
Don’t always think about what you will eat or what you will drink, and don’t keep worrying.
So do not be overly concerned about what you will eat and what you will drink, and do not worry about such things.
Don’t spend time thinking about what you will eat or drink. Don’t worry about it.
And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it.
And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it.
“And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind.
Do not give so much thought to what you will eat or drink. Do not be worried about it.
“And don’t be concerned about what to eat and what to drink. Don’t worry about such things.
And ask not what you shall eat or what you shall drink, neither climb up on high.
And do not keep striving for what you are to eat and what you are to drink, and do not keep worrying.
And do not keep striving for what you are to eat and what you are to drink, and do not keep worrying.
And do not keep striving for what you are to eat and what you are to drink, and do not keep worrying.
And do not keep seeking what you are to eat and what you are to drink, and do not keep worrying.
“So don’t you go hunting about for what to eat or what to drink, and don’t be anxious.
And don’t keep striving after okhel (food) and skikuy (drink), and don’t have a lev rogez (anxious heart).
“Therefore, do not ask what you shall eat or what you shall drink, or have an anxious mind.
And do not seek what you are to eat and what you are to drink, nor be of anxious mind.
And do not seek what you are to eat and what you are to drink, nor be of anxious mind.
“So do not seek what you will eat and what you will drink, and do not keep worrying.
Don’t reduce your life to the pursuit of food and drink; don’t let your mind be filled with anxiety.
Don’t seek what you will eat or what you will drink; neither be anxious.
`Do not keep asking, "What shall we eat?" and, "What shall we drink?" Do not be troubled about that.
And do not ye seek, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; and do not ye be raised on high.
`And ye -- seek not what ye may eat, or what ye may drink, and be not in suspense,
