(For He knew who would betray Him; therefore He said, “Ye are not all clean.”)
For he knew him that should betray him; therefore said he, Ye are not all clean.
For He knew who was going to betray Him; for that reason He said, “Not all of you are clean.”
For He knew who was going to betray Him; that was the reason He said, Not all of you are clean.

He knew who would betray him. That’s why he said, “Not every one of you is clean.”
(He knew who was betraying him; this is why he said, “Not all of you are clean.”)
Jesus knew who would betray him. That is why he said, “except for one of you.”
For he knew him that delivered him up: on account of this he said, Ye are not all clean.
For He knew the one handing Him over. For this reason He said that “You are not all clean”.
For he knew who he was that would betray him; therefore he said: You are not all clean.
Jesus knew who would hand him over to his enemies. That is why he said, “Not all of you are clean.”
For he knew who was to betray him; that was why he said, “Not all of you are clean.”

For he knew who should betray him; therefore, said he, Ye are not all clean.

For Jesus knew who would betray him. That is what he meant when he said, “Not all of you are clean.”
Jesus said, “If you’ve had a bath in the morning, you only need your feet washed now and you’re clean from head to toe. My concern, you understand, is holiness, not hygiene. So now you’re clean. But not every one of you.” (He knew who was betraying him. That’s why he said, “Not every one of you.”) After he had finished washing their feet, he took his robe, put it back on, and went back to his place at the table.
For He knew who would betray Him. Therefore He said, “Not all of you are clean.”
For he knew who was about to betray him; that was why he said, “Not all of you are clean.”
(Yeshua knew who was going to betray him. That’s why he said, “All of you, except for one, are clean.”)

Jesus knew who was going to give him over to people who hated him. That is why he said, `You are not all clean.'
For he knew, who it was that should betray him [Forsooth he knew, who should betray him]; therefore he said, Ye be not all clean.
