are ye not then partial in yourselves and have become judges with evil thoughts?
do ye not make distinctions among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?
have you not discriminated among yourselves, and become judges with wrong motives?
Are you not discriminating among your own and becoming critics and judges with wrong motives?
Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?
haven’t you made distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?
Wouldn’t you have shown favoritism among yourselves and become evil-minded judges?
then aren’t you creating distinctions among yourselves, and haven’t you made yourselves into judges with evil motives?
This is the same as saying that some people are better than others, and you would be acting like a crooked judge.
have ye not made a difference among yourselves, and become judges having evil thoughts?
did you not make-distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?
Do you not judge within yourselves, and are become judges of unjust thoughts?
Doesn’t this show that you think some people are more important than others? You set yourselves up as judges—judges who make bad decisions.
If you do that, you are thinking bad thoughts. You have decided that one person among you is better than another person. You must not do that.
have you not made a distinction among yourselves and become judges with evil opinions?
have you not then made distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?
have you not then made distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?
·What are you doing? You are making some people more important than others [L Are you not discriminating among yourselves…?], and ·with evil thoughts you are deciding that one person is better [or you are judging with evil thoughts; or you are acting like judges with evil motives].
Are ye not partial in your selves, and are become Judges of evil thoughts?
Aren’t you discriminating against people and using a corrupt standard to make judgments?
then you are guilty of creating distinctions among yourselves and of making judgments based on evil motives.
haven’t you discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?
What are you doing? You are making some people more important than others. With evil thoughts you are deciding which person is better.
then you will have made false distinctions among yourselves and will have judged from evil motives, will you not?
Don’t ever attempt, my brothers, to combine snobbery with faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ! Suppose one man comes into your meeting well-dressed and with a gold ring on his finger, and another man, obviously poor, arrives in shabby clothes. If you pay special attention to the well-dressed man by saying, “Please sit here—it’s an excellent seat”, and say to the poor man, “You stand over there, please, or if you must sit, sit on the floor”, doesn’t that prove that you are making class-distinctions in your mind, and setting yourselves up to assess a man’s quality?—a very bad thing. For do notice, my brothers, that God chose poor men, whose only wealth was their faith, and made them heirs to the kingdom promised to those who love him. And if you behave as I have suggested, it is the poor man that you are insulting. Look around you. Isn’t it the rich who are always trying to “boss” you, isn’t it the rich who drag you into litigation? Isn’t it usually the rich who blaspheme the glorious name by which you are known?
Are ye not then judging in yourselves and are become judges of evil thoughts?
Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?
are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?
have you not made distinctions among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?
have you not made distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?
judging a man by his wealth shows that you are guided by wrong motives.
My dear friends, don’t let public opinion influence how you live out our glorious, Christ-originated faith. If a man enters your church wearing an expensive suit, and a street person wearing rags comes in right after him, and you say to the man in the suit, “Sit here, sir; this is the best seat in the house!” and either ignore the street person or say, “Better sit here in the back row,” haven’t you segregated God’s children and proved that you are judges who can’t be trusted?
have you not then become partial among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?
have you not made distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil motives?
Aren’t you discriminating against people and using a corrupt standard to make judgments?
have you not made distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil designs?
have you not made distinctions among yourselves, and become judges with evil motives?
have you not made distinctions among yourselves, and become judges with evil motives?
have you not shown favoritism among yourselves and judged by wrongful standards?
What are you doing? You are making some people more important than others, and with evil thoughts you are deciding that one person is better.
If so, have you not made distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil motives?
If you would, aren’t you treating some people better than others? Aren’t you like judges who have evil thoughts?
have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?
have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?
have you not shown partiality among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?
are you not thinking that one is more important than the other? This kind of thinking is sinful.
doesn’t this discrimination show that your judgments are guided by evil motives?
are you not partial among yourselves, and have judged after evil thoughts?
have you not made distinctions among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?
have you not made distinctions among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?
have you not made distinctions among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?
have you not made distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?
When you do this, are you not discriminating among yourselves? Are you not turning into judges with evil thoughts?
did you not among yourselves differentiate with prejudice and became shofetim (judges) with machshavot re’sha (evil thoughts)?
Are you not partial among yourselves, becoming judges of evil thoughts?
have you not made distinctions among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?
have you not made distinctions among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?
haven’t you made distinctions between yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?
If you tell the wealthy man, “Come sit by me; there’s plenty of room,” but tell the vagrant, “Oh, these seats are saved. Go over there,” then you’ll be judging God’s children out of evil motives.
haven’t you shown partiality among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?
If you do these things, you think some people are better than others. You are wrong when you judge people this way.
whether ye deem not with yourselves, and be made doomsmen of wicked thoughts?
ye did not judge fully in yourselves, and did become ill-reasoning judges.
