Hebrews 11:40
Print
God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.
God having provided some better thing concerning us, that apart from us they should not be made perfect.
because God had us in mind and had something better for us, so that they [these men and women of authentic faith] would not be made perfect [that is, completed in Him] apart from us.
Because God had us in mind and had something better and greater in view for us, so that they [these heroes and heroines of faith] should not come to perfection apart from us [before we could join them].
God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.
since God had provided something better for us, so that they would not be made perfect without us.
God provided something better for us so they wouldn’t be made perfect without us.
because God had planned something better that would involve us, so that only with us would they be brought to the goal.
This was because God had something better in store for us. And he did not want them to reach the goal of their faith without us.
God having foreseen some better thing for us, that they should not be made perfect without us.
God having provided something better for us, in order that they should not be perfected apart from us.
God providing some better thing for us, that they should not be perfected without us.
God planned something better for us. He wanted to make us perfect. Of course, he wanted those great people to be made perfect too, but not before we could all enjoy that blessing together.
God had already decided to prepare something better for all of us. As a result, those people did not receive everything until we could join with them.
because God had planned something better for us, namely, that they would not reach the goal apart from us.
since God had provided something better for us, that apart from us they should not be made perfect.
since God had provided something better for us, that apart from us they should not be made perfect.
God ·planned to give us [had provided] something better so that they would be made perfect, but ·only together with us [L not without us].
God providing a better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.
God planned to give us something very special so that we would gain eternal life with them.
because God had decided on an even better plan for us. His purpose was that only in company with us would they be made perfect.
since God had provided something better for us, so that they would not be made perfect without us.
God planned to give us something better. Then they would be made perfect, but only together with us.
since God had planned something better for us, so that they would not be perfected without us.
All these won a glowing testimony to their faith, but they did not then and there receive the fulfilment of the promise. God had something better planned for our day, and it was not his plan that they should reach perfection without us.
God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.
God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.
God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.
because God had provided something better for us, so that apart from us they would not be made perfect.
because God had provided something better for us, so that they would not be made perfect without us.
for God wanted them to wait and share the even better rewards that were prepared for us.
Not one of these people, even though their lives of faith were exemplary, got their hands on what was promised. God had a better plan for us: that their faith and our faith would come together to make one completed whole, their lives of faith not complete apart from ours.
For God provided something better for us, so that with us they would be made perfect.
for · God had provided something better with us in mind, so that they should not reach their goal apart from us.
God planned to give us something very special so that we would gain eternal life with them.
God had foreseen something better for us, so that without us they should not be made perfect.
because God had provided something better for us, so that apart from us they would not be made perfect.
because God had provided something better for us, so that apart from us they would not be made perfect.
For God had made provision for us to have something better, and they were not to achieve perfection except with us.
God planned to give us something better so that they would be made perfect, but only together with us.
For God had provided something better for us, so that they would be made perfect together with us.
That’s because God had planned something better for us. So they would only be made perfect together with us.
since God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.
since God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.
God having provided something better for us, that they should not be made perfect apart from us.
God had planned something better for us. These men could not be made perfect without us.
For God had something better in mind for us, so that they would not reach perfection without us.
God providing a better thing for us, so that they would not be made perfect without us.
since God had provided something better so that they would not, without us, be made perfect.
since God had provided something better so that they would not, without us, be made perfect.
since God had provided something better so that they would not, apart from us, be made perfect.
since God had provided something better so that they would not, apart from us, be made perfect.
God was providing something better for us, so that they wouldn’t reach perfection without our doing so as well.
Hashem having foreseen something better for us, so that, apart from us, they should not be made shleimut.
God providing a better thing for us, so that they would not be made perfect apart from us.
since God had foreseen something better for us, that apart from us they should not be made perfect.
since God had foreseen something better for us, that apart from us they should not be made perfect.
because God had provided something better for us, so that only with us would they reach perfection.
That promise has awaited us, who receive the better thing that God has provided in these last days, so that with us, our forebears might finally see the promise completed.
God having provided some better thing concerning us, so that apart from us they should not be made perfect.
God planned something better. They will be made perfect but only with us.
for God provided some better thing for us, that they should not be made perfect without us.
God for us something better having provided, that apart from us they might not be made perfect.
