Galatians 6:13
For not even they themselves who are circumcised keep the law, but they desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.
For not even they who receive circumcision do themselves keep the law; but they desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.
For even the circumcised [Jews] themselves do not [really] keep the Law, but they want to have you circumcised so that they may boast in your flesh [that is, in the fact that they convinced you to be circumcised].
For even the circumcised [Jews] themselves do not [really] keep the Law, but they want to have you circumcised in order that they may glory in your flesh (your subjection to external rites).
For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.
Those who are circumcised don’t observe the Law themselves, but they want you to be circumcised, so they can boast about your physical body.
For even those who are getting circumcised don’t observe the Torah. On the contrary, they want you to get circumcised so that they can boast of having gained your adherence.
They are circumcised, but they don’t obey the Law of Moses. All they want is to brag about having you circumcised.
For neither do they that are circumcised themselves keep the law; but they wish you to be circumcised, that they may boast in your flesh.
For not even the ones receiving-circumcision themselves are keeping the Law. But they want you to receive-circumcision in order that they might boast in your flesh.
For neither they themselves who are circumcised, keep the law; but they will have you to be circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.
They are circumcised, but they don’t obey the law themselves. They want you to be circumcised so that they can boast about what they did to you.
For even those who are circumcised do not themselves keep the law, but they desire to have you circumcised that they may boast in your flesh.
For even those who are circumcised do not themselves keep the law, but they desire to have you circumcised that they may boast in your flesh.
[L For] Those who are circumcised do not obey the law themselves, but they want you to be circumcised so they can ·brag [boast] ·about what they forced you to do [L in your flesh].
For they themselves which are circumcised keep not the Law, but desire to have you circumcised, that they might rejoice in your flesh.
It’s clear that not even those who had themselves circumcised did this to follow Moses’ laws. Yet, they want you to be circumcised so that they can brag about what was done to your body.
Even those who practice circumcision do not obey the Law; they want you to be circumcised so that they can boast that you submitted to this physical ceremony.
For even the circumcised don’t keep the law themselves; however, they want you to be circumcised in order to boast about your flesh.
Those who are circumcised do not obey the law themselves, but they want you to be circumcised. Then they can brag about what they forced you to do.
Why, not even those who are circumcised obey the Law! They simply want you to be circumcised so that they can boast about your external appearance.
These men who are always urging you to be circumcised—what are they after? They want to present a pleasing front to the world and they want to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ. For even those who have been circumcised do not themselves keep the Law. But they want you circumcised so that they may be able to boast about your submission to their ruling.
For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law, but desire to have you circumcised that they may glory in your flesh.
For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.
For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.
For not even those who are circumcised observe the law themselves, but they want you to be circumcised in order that they may boast in your flesh.
And even those teachers who submit to circumcision don’t try to keep the other Jewish laws; but they want you to be circumcised in order that they can boast that you are their disciples.
Now, in these last sentences, I want to emphasize in the bold scrawls of my personal handwriting the immense importance of what I have written to you. These people who are attempting to force the ways of circumcision on you have only one motive: They want an easy way to look good before others, lacking the courage to live by a faith that shares Christ’s suffering and death. All their talk about the law is gas. They themselves don’t keep the law! And they are highly selective in the laws they do observe. They only want you to be circumcised so they can boast of their success in recruiting you to their side. That is contemptible!
For they themselves who are circumcised do not keep the law. But they desire to have you circumcised, so that they may boast in your flesh.
For even those who are circumcised do not themselves keep the law, but they want you to be circumcised so that they may boast in · your flesh.
It’s clear that not even those who had themselves circumcised did this to follow Moses’ laws. Yet, they want you to be circumcised so that they can brag about what was done to your body.
Not even those having themselves circumcised observe the law themselves; they only want you to be circumcised so that they may boast of your flesh.
For those who are circumcised do not even keep the Law themselves, but they desire to have you circumcised so that they may boast in your flesh.
Those who are circumcised do not obey the law themselves, but they want you to be circumcised so they can brag about what they forced you to do.
For those who are circumcised do not obey the law themselves, but they want you to be circumcised so that they can boast about your flesh.
Even those who are circumcised don’t obey the law. But they want you to be circumcised. Then they can brag about what has been done to your body.
Not even those who are circumcised keep the law, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast about your circumcision in the flesh.
Not even those who are circumcised keep the law, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast about your circumcision in the flesh.
For not even those who are circumcised keep the law, but they desire to have you circumcised that they may boast in your flesh.
Those who have gone through the religious act of becoming a Jew do not even keep the Law themselves. But they want you to go through that religious act so they can be proud that you are their followers.
And even those who advocate circumcision don’t keep the whole law themselves. They only want you to be circumcised so they can boast about it and claim you as their disciples.
Even the circumcised do not themselves obey the law, but they want you to be circumcised so that they may boast about your flesh.
Even the circumcised do not themselves obey the law, but they want you to be circumcised so that they may boast about your flesh.
Even the circumcised do not themselves obey the law, but they want you to be circumcised so that they may boast about your flesh.
Even the circumcised do not themselves obey the law, but they want you to be circumcised so that they may boast about your flesh.
You see, even the circumcised ones don’t keep the law; rather, they want you to be circumcised, so that they may boast about your flesh.
For not even those of the party of the bris milah are shomer mitzvot themselves; they (the mohalim of Goyim) want you (Goyim) to undergo bris milah for the purpose of boasting in your basar!
For even those who receive circumcision do not themselves keep the law, but they desire to have you circumcised that they may glory in your flesh.
For even those who receive circumcision do not themselves keep the law, but they desire to have you circumcised that they may glory in your flesh.
For not even the circumcised keep Torah themselves. Yet they want to have you circumcised so that they may boast about your flesh.
But even those who receive circumcision can’t keep the law—although they think they can—and they hope to influence which way you go with your own skin so they can have bragging rights over your flesh.
For even they who receive circumcision don’t keep the law themselves, but they desire to have you circumcised, that they may boast in your flesh.
Even those who are circumcised do not obey the law. But they want you to be circumcised. Then they can be proud that they made you do it.
For neither they that be circumcised keep the law; but they will that ye be circumcised, that they have glory in your flesh [but they will you to be circumcised, that they glory in your flesh].
for neither do those circumcised themselves keep the law, but they wish you to be circumcised, that in your flesh they may glory.
