Then the chief captain took him by the hand, and going aside with him privately, asked him, “What is it that thou hast to tell me?”

The commander took him by the hand and stepping aside, began to ask him privately, “What is it that you have to tell me?”

And the commander— having taken-hold-of his hand, and having withdrawn privately— was asking, “What is it that you have to report to me?”
And the tribune taking him by the hand, went aside with him privately, and asked him: What is it that thou hast to tell me?
The commander led the young man to a place where they could be alone. The commander asked, “What do you want to tell me?”
The leader of the soldiers held the young man's hand and he led him to another place. When they were alone, he asked the young man, ‘What do you want to tell me?’
The commander took him by the hand, led him aside, and asked him privately, “What is it that you have to tell me?”

And the tribune took his hand, and went with him asides half, and asked him, What thing is it, that thou hast to show to me?
And the chief captain having taken him by the hand, and having withdrawn by themselves, inquired, `What is that which thou hast to tell me?'
