2 Peter 3:11
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy manner of living and godliness,
Seeing that these things are thus all to be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy living and godliness,
Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be [in the meantime] in holy behavior [that is, in a pattern of daily life that sets you apart as a believer] and in godliness [displaying profound reverence toward our awesome God],
Since all these things are thus in the process of being dissolved, what kind of person ought [each of] you to be [in the meanwhile] in consecrated and holy behavior and devout and godly qualities,
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be? You must live holy and godly lives,
Since everything is going to be destroyed like this, what kind of people should you be? You should lead holy and godly lives,
Everything will be destroyed. So you should serve and honor God by the way you live.
All these things then being to be dissolved, what ought ye to be in holy conversation and godliness,
All these things thus being destroyed, what-kind-of people ought you to be in holy behaviors and acts of godliness,
Seeing then that all these things are to be dissolved, what manner of people ought you to be in holy conversation and godliness?
Everything will be destroyed in this way. So what kind of people should you be? Your lives should be holy and devoted to God.
Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness,
Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness,
In that way everything will be ·destroyed [or dissolved]. So what kind of people should you be? You should live holy lives and ·serve God [be godly/pious],
Seeing therefore that all these things must be dissolved, what manner persons ought ye to be in holy conversation and godliness,
All these things will be destroyed in this way. So think of the kind of holy and godly lives you must live
Since all these things will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people should you be? Your lives should be holy and dedicated to God,
Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, it is clear what sort of people you should be in holy conduct and godliness
In that way everything will be destroyed. So what kind of people should you be? You should live holy lives and serve God.
Since everything will be destroyed in this way, think of the kind of holy and godly people you ought to be
In view of the fact that all these things are to be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be? Surely men of good and holy character, who live expecting and earnestly longing for the coming of the day of God. True, this day will mean that the heavens will disappear in fire and the elements disintegrate in fearful heat, but our hopes are set not on these but on the new Heaven and the new earth which he has promised us, and in which nothing but good shall live.
¶ Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
Because all these things are being destroyed in this way, what sort of people must you be in holy behavior and godliness,
And so since everything around us is going to melt away, what holy, godly lives we should be living!
Since everything here today might well be gone tomorrow, do you see how essential it is to live a holy life? Daily expect the Day of God, eager for its arrival. The galaxies will burn up and the elements melt down that day—but we’ll hardly notice. We’ll be looking the other way, ready for the promised new heavens and the promised new earth, all landscaped with righteousness.
Seeing then that all these things are to be destroyed, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,
Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what kind of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,
All these things will be destroyed in this way. So think of the kind of holy and godly lives you must live
Since everything is to be dissolved in this way, what sort of persons ought [you] to be, conducting yourselves in holiness and devotion,
Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,
In that way everything will be destroyed. So what kind of people should you be? You should live holy lives and serve God,
Since all these things are to melt away in this manner, what sort of people must we be, conducting our lives in holiness and godliness,
So everything will be destroyed in this way. And what kind of people should you be? You should lead holy and godly lives.
Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives
Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives
Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,
Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, you should think about the kind of life you are living. It should be holy and God-like.
Since everything around us is going to be destroyed like this, what holy and godly lives you should live,
Since all these things are to be dissolved in this way, what sort of persons ought you to be in leading lives of holiness and godliness,
Since all these things are to be dissolved in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in leading lives of holiness and godliness,
Since all these things are to be dissolved in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in leading lives of holiness and godliness,
Since all these things are to be dissolved in this way, what sort of persons ought you to be in leading lives of holiness and godliness,
Since everything is going to dissolve in this way, what sort of people should you be? You should live lives that are holy and godly,
Als (Since) all these things will thus be destroyed, what kinds of persons ought you to be in hitnahagut (conduct) that is characterized by kedushah and chasidus,
Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of persons ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness,
Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of persons ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness,
Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what kind of people should you be? Live your lives in holiness and godliness,
Knowing that one day all this will come to pass, think what sort of people you ought to be—how you should be living faithful and godly lives,
Therefore since all these things will be destroyed like this, what kind of people ought you to be in holy living and godliness,
That is the way the whole world will go. So think what kind of people you should be! Think how holy and true to God your lives should be!
Therefore when all these things shall be dissolved, what manner men behooveth it you to be in holy livings and piety [in holy livings and pieties],
All these, then, being dissolved, what kind of persons doth it behove you to be in holy behaviours and pious acts?
