2 Corinthians 7:6
Print
Nevertheless God, who comforteth those that are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus;
Nevertheless he that comforteth the lowly, even God, comforted us by the coming of Titus;
But God, who comforts and encourages the depressed and the disquieted, comforted us by the arrival of Titus.
But God, Who comforts and encourages and refreshes and cheers the depressed and the sinking, comforted and encouraged and refreshed and cheered us by the arrival of Titus.
Nevertheless God, that comforteth those that are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus;
But God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the arrival of Titus,
However, God comforts people who are discouraged, and he comforted us by Titus’ arrival.
But God, who encourages the downhearted, encouraged us with the arrival of Titus!
But God cheers up people in need, and this is what he did when he sent Titus to us.
But he who encourages those that are [brought] low, [even] God, encouraged us by the coming of Titus;
But the One comforting the downcast, God, comforted us by the coming of Titus;
But God, who comforteth the humble, comforted us by the coming of Titus.
But God encourages those who are troubled, and he certainly encouraged us by bringing Titus to us.
But when people feel upset, God helps them to be strong. And God made us happy when Titus arrived.
But God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us with the arrival of Titus,
But God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus,
But God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus,
But God, who ·comforts [encourages] those who are ·troubled [downcast; discouraged], ·comforted [encouraged] us when Titus [2:13] came.
But God, that comforteth the abject, comforted us at the coming of Titus:
Yet God, who comforts those who are dejected, comforted us when Titus arrived.
But God, who encourages the downhearted, encouraged us with the coming of Titus.
But God, who comforts the humble, comforted us by the arrival of Titus,
But God comforts those who are troubled. And God comforted us when Titus came.
Yet God, who comforts those who feel miserable, comforted us by the arrival of Titus,
For even when we arrived in Macedonia we had a wretched time with trouble all round us—wrangling outside and anxiety within. Not but what God, who cheers the depressed, gave us the comfort of the arrival of Titus. And it wasn’t merely his coming that cheered us, but the comfort you had given him, for he could tell us of your eagerness to help, your deep sympathy and keen interest on my behalf. All that made me doubly glad to see him. For although my letter had hurt you I don’t regret it now (as I did, I must confess, at one time). I can see that the letter did upset you, though only for a time, and now I am glad I sent it, not because I want to hurt you but because it made you grieve for things that were wrong. In other words, the result was to make you sorry as God would have had you sorry, and not merely to make you offended by what we said. The sorrow which God uses means a change of heart and leads to salvation—it is the world’s sorrow that is such a deadly thing. You can look back now and see how the hand of God was in that sorrow. Look how seriously it made you think, how eager it made you to prove your innocence, how indignant it made you, and in some cases, how afraid! Look how it made you long for my presence, how it stirred up your keenness for the faith, how ready it made you to punish the offender! Yes, that letter cleared the air for you as nothing else would have done.
Nevertheless God, who comforts the humble, comforted us by the coming of Titus;
Nevertheless God, that comforteth those that are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus;
Nevertheless God, that comforteth those that are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus;
But God, who comforts the humbled, comforted us by the coming of Titus;
But God, who comforts the humble, comforted us by the coming of Titus,
Then God who cheers those who are discouraged refreshed us by the arrival of Titus.
When we arrived in Macedonia province, we couldn’t settle down. The fights in the church and the fears in our hearts kept us on pins and needles. We couldn’t relax because we didn’t know how it would turn out. Then the God who lifts up the downcast lifted our heads and our hearts with the arrival of Titus. We were glad just to see him, but the true reassurance came in what he told us about you: how much you cared, how much you grieved, how concerned you were for me. I went from worry to tranquility in no time!
Nevertheless God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us through the coming of Titus,
But God, who encourages the downcast, encouraged us · with the arrival of Titus.
Yet God, who comforts those who are dejected, comforted us when Titus arrived.
But God, who encourages the downcast, encouraged us by the arrival of Titus,
But God, who comforts the discouraged, comforted us by the arrival of Titus;
But God, who comforts the depressed, comforted us by the coming of Titus;
But God, who comforts the downcast, encouraged us by the arrival of Titus—
But God, who comforts those who are troubled, comforted us when Titus came.
But God, who encourages the downhearted, encouraged us by the arrival of Titus.
But God comforts those who are sad. He comforted us when Titus came.
But God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus,
But God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus,
Nevertheless God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus,
But God gives comfort to those whose hearts are heavy. He gave us comfort when Titus came.
But God, who encourages those who are discouraged, encouraged us by the arrival of Titus.
Nevertheless, God, who comforts the abject, comforted us at the coming of Titus.
But God, who consoles the downcast, consoled us by the arrival of Titus,
But God, who consoles the downcast, consoled us by the arrival of Titus,
But God, who consoles the downcast, consoled us by the arrival of Titus,
But God, who consoles the downcast, consoled us by the arrival of Titus,
But the God who comforts the downcast comforted us by the arrival of Titus,
But Hashem who encourages the lowly, encouraged us [YESHAYAH 49:13; 2C 1:3-4] by the coming of Titos;
But God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us at the coming of Titus;
But God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus,
But God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus,
But God, who encourages the downcast, encouraged us with the arrival of Titus;
But God, who comforts the downcast, brought us comfort when Titus arrived from Corinth.
Nevertheless, he who comforts the lowly, God, comforted us by the coming of Titus,
You comforted him, and that comforted us. He told us that you wanted very much to see us. He told us that you were very sorry for what you had done. He told us that you want to stand with me. So now I am even more happy. 8 ,
But God that comforteth meek men, comforted us in the coming of Titus.
but He who is comforting the cast-down -- God -- He did comfort us in the presence of Titus;
