2 Corinthians 5:9
Print
Therefore we labor, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted by Him.
Wherefore also we make it our aim, whether at home or absent, to be well-pleasing unto him.
Therefore, whether we are at home [on earth] or away from home [and with Him], it is our [constant] ambition to be pleasing to Him.
Therefore, whether we are at home [on earth away from Him] or away from home [and with Him], we are constantly ambitious and strive earnestly to be pleasing to Him.
Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
Therefore, whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to be pleasing to him.
So our goal is to be acceptable to him, whether we are at home or away from home.
Therefore, whether at home or away from home, we try our utmost to please him;
But whether we are at home with the Lord or away from him, we still try our best to please him.
Wherefore also we are zealous, whether present or absent, to be agreeable to him.
Therefore we indeed are ambitious to be pleasing to Him— whether being at-home or being away-from-home.
And therefore we labour, whether absent or present, to please him.
Our only goal is to always please the Lord, whether we are living here in this body or there with him.
But all the time we want to please the Lord. We want to do that while we are still at home in our body here on earth. We also want to please him when we go away from these bodies.
And for this reason we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home or away.
So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him.
So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him.
Our only ·goal [aim; ambition] is to please ·God [L him] whether we ·live here [are at home] or ·there [are absent/exiled],
Wherefore also we covet, that both dwelling at home, and removing from home, we may be acceptable to him.
Whether we live in the body or move out of it, our goal is to be pleasing to him.
More than anything else, however, we want to please him, whether in our home here or there.
Therefore, whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to be pleasing to Him.
Our only goal is to please God. We want to please him whether we live here or there.
So whether we are at home or away from home, our goal is to be pleasing to him.
It is our aim, therefore, to please him, whether we are “at home” or “away”. For every one of us will have to stand without pretence before Christ our judge, and we shall be rewarded for what we did when we lived in our bodies, whether it was good or bad.
Therefore we also procure, whether present or absent, that we may please him.
Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him.
Therefore indeed we have as our ambition, whether at home in the body or absent from the body, to be acceptable to him.
So our aim is to please him always in everything we do, whether we are here in this body or away from this body and with him in heaven.
But neither exile nor homecoming is the main thing. Cheerfully pleasing God is the main thing, and that’s what we aim to do, regardless of our conditions. Sooner or later we’ll all have to face God, regardless of our conditions. We will appear before Christ and take what’s coming to us as a result of our actions, either good or bad.
So whether present or absent, we labor that we may be accepted by Him.
So then we make it our goal, whether at home or away, to be pleasing to him.
Whether we live in the body or move out of it, our goal is to be pleasing to him.
Therefore, we aspire to please him, whether we are at home or away.
Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him.
Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him.
For this reason, whether at home or away, we strive to please him.
Our only goal is to please God whether we live here or there,
So then whether we are alive or away, we make it our ambition to please him.
So we try our best to please him. We want to please him whether we are at home in our bodies or away from them.
So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it.
So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it.
Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him.
So if we stay here on earth or go home to Him, we always want to please Him.
So whether we are here in this body or away from this body, our goal is to please him.
And so whether we are at home or away from home, we endeavour to please him.
So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him.
So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him.
So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him.
So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to be pleasing to him.
So we work hard, as a point of honor, to please him, whether we are at home or away.
Therefore, also we are aspiring, whether at home, or away from home, to be well pleasing to Hashem, [Co 1:10; 1Th 4:1]
Therefore also, we desire eagerly, whether present or absent, to be acceptable to Him.
So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him.
So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him.
So whether at home or absent, we make it our aim to be pleasing to Him.
Ultimately it does not matter whether we are here or gone; our purpose stays fixed, and that is to please Him.
Therefore also we make it our aim, whether at home or absent, to be well pleasing to him.
So it does not matter if we are living here or go to live there. Wherever we are we want to please the Lord.
And therefore we strive, whether absent, whether present, to please him.
Wherefore also we are ambitious, whether at home or away from home, to be well pleasing to him,
