He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is no occasion for stumbling in him.

The one who loves and unselfishly seeks the best for his [believing] brother lives in the Light, and in him there is no occasion for stumbling or offense [he does not hurt the cause of Christ or lead others to sin].

Those who love their brothers and sisters live in the light, and there is nothing in them that will make them do wrong.
Anyone who loves other believers shows that he is living in the light. There is nothing that will make him turn away from God.
The one who loves his brother remains in the light, and nothing causes him to stumble.
Whoever loves his brother abides in the light, and in him there is no cause for stumbling.

He that loveth his brother, abideth in that light, and there is no occasion of evil in him.
Those who love other believers live in the light. Nothing will destroy the faith of those who live in the light.
If we love others, we live in the light, and so there is nothing in us that will cause someone else to sin.
The one who loves his brother remains in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him.

I am not really writing to tell you of any new command, brothers of mine. It is the old, original command which you had at the beginning; it is the old message which you have heard before. And yet as I give it to you again I know that it is true—in your life as it was in his. For the darkness is beginning to lift and the true light is now shining in the world. Anyone who claims to be “in the light” and hates his brother is, in fact, still in complete darkness. The man who loves his brother lives and moves in the light, and has no reason to stumble. But the man who hates his brother is shut off from the light and gropes his way in the dark without seeing where he is going. To move in the dark is to move blindfold.

But whoever loves his fellow man is “walking in the light” and can see his way without stumbling around in darkness and sin.
Anyone who claims to live in God’s light and hates a brother or sister is still in the dark. It’s the person who loves brother and sister who dwells in God’s light and doesn’t block the light from others. But whoever hates is still in the dark, stumbles around in the dark, doesn’t know which end is up, blinded by the darkness.
Whoever loves his brother lives in the light, and in him there is no cause for stumbling.
The one who loves · his brother is living in the light and in him there is no cause for stumbling.

The one with ahavah for the Ach b’Moshiach of him makes his maon (dwelling, permanent residence, Yn 14:2, 23) in the Ohr (Light) and a cause for michshol (stumbling, falling) is not in him. [TEHILLIM 119:165]
