1 Corinthians 3:4
Print
For while one saith, “I am of Paul,” and another, “I am of Apollos,” are ye not carnal?
For when one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not men?
For when one of you says, “I am [a disciple] of Paul,” and another, “I am [a disciple] of Apollos,” are you not [proving yourselves unchanged, just] ordinary people?
For when one says, I belong to Paul, and another, I belong to Apollos, are you not [proving yourselves] ordinary (unchanged) men?
For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?
For whenever someone says, “I belong to Paul,” and another, “I belong to Apollos,” are you not acting like mere humans?
When someone says, “I belong to Paul,” and someone else says, “I belong to Apollos,” aren’t you acting like people without the Spirit?
For when one says, “I follow Sha’ul” and another, “I follow Apollos,” aren’t you being merely human?
Some of you say you follow me, and others claim to follow Apollos. Isn't this how ordinary people behave?
For when one says, *I* am of Paul, and another, *I* of Apollos, are ye not men?
For whenever one says “I am of Paul”, and another “I am of Apollos”, are you not [mere] humans?
For while one saith, I indeed am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollo; are you not men? What then is Apollo, and what is Paul?
One of you says, “I follow Paul,” and someone else says, “I follow Apollos.” When you say things like that, you are acting like people of the world.
Some of you say, ‘Paul is my leader.’ And other people say, ‘Apollos is my leader.’ When you speak like that, you are talking like people who belong to this world.
When one says, “I belong to Paul,” and another, “I belong to Apollos,” are you not being merely human?
For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” are you not being merely human?
For when one says, “I follow Paul”, and another, “I follow Apollos”, are you not being merely human?
One of you says, “I belong to Paul,” and another says, “I belong to Apollos.” When you say things like this, ·you are [L are you not…?] ·acting like people of the world [or living on a merely human level; L people; human beings].
For when one saith, I am Paul’s, and another, I am Apollos’s, are ye not carnal?
When some of you say, “I follow Paul” and others say, “I follow Apollos,” aren’t you acting like ⌞sinful⌟ humans?
When one of you says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos”—aren't you acting like worldly people?
For whenever someone says, “I’m with Paul,” and another, “I’m with Apollos,” are you not unspiritual people?
One of you says, “I follow Paul,” and another says, “I follow Apollos.” When you say things like this, you are acting like worldly people.
For when one person says, “I follow Paul,” and another person says, “I follow Apollos,” you’re following your own human nature, aren’t you?
I, my brothers, was unable to talk to you as spiritual men: I had to talk to you as unspiritual, as yet babies in the Christian life, And my practice had been to feed you, as it were, with “milk” and not with “meat”. You were unable to digest “meat” in those days, and I don’t believe you can do it now. For you are still unspiritual; all the time that there is jealousy and squabbling among you you show that you are—you are living just like men of the world. While one of you says, “I am one of Paul’s converts” and another says, “I am one of Apollos’”, are you not plainly unspiritual?
For while one says, I am of Paul, and another, I am of Apollos, are ye not carnal?
For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?
For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?
For when one says, “I am of Paul,” and another, “I am of Apollos,” are you not mere men?
For whenever anyone says, “I am with Paul,” and another, “I am with Apollos,” are you not merely human?
There you are, quarreling about whether I am greater than Apollos, and dividing the church. Doesn’t this show how little you have grown in the Lord?
But for right now, friends, I’m completely frustrated by your unspiritual dealings with each other and with God. You’re acting like infants in relation to Christ, capable of nothing much more than nursing at the breast. Well, then, I’ll nurse you since you don’t seem capable of anything more. As long as you grab for what makes you feel good or makes you look important, are you really much different than a babe at the breast, content only when everything’s going your way? When one of you says, “I’m on Paul’s side,” and another says, “I’m for Apollos,” aren’t you being totally childish?
For while one says, “I am of Paul,” and another, “I am of Apollos,” are you not worldly?
For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” are you not like everyone else?
When some of you say, “I follow Paul” and others say, “I follow Apollos,” aren’t you acting like sinful humans?
Whenever someone says, “I belong to Paul,” and another, “I belong to Apollos,” are you not merely human?
For when one person says, “I am with Paul,” and another, “I am with Apollos,” are you not ordinary people?
For when one says, “I am of Paul,” and another, “I am of Apollos,” are you not mere men?
Whenever someone says, “I belong to Paul,” and another asserts, “I belong to Apollos,” are you not acting in a merely human fashion?
One of you says, “I belong to Paul,” and another says, “I belong to Apollos.” When you say things like this, you are acting like people of the world.
For whenever someone says, “I am with Paul,” or “I am with Apollos,” are you not merely human?
One of you says, “I follow Paul.” Another says, “I follow Apollos.” Aren’t you acting like ordinary human beings?
For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” are you not mere human beings?
For when one says, ‘I follow Paul,’ and another, ‘I follow Apollos,’ are you not mere human beings?
For when one says, “I am of Paul,” and another, “I am of Apollos,” are you not carnal?
When one says, “I am a follower of Paul,” and another says, “I am a follower of Apollos,” does not this sound like the talk of baby Christians?
When one of you says, “I am a follower of Paul,” and another says, “I follow Apollos,” aren’t you acting just like people of the world?
As long as one says, I hold to Paul, and another, I’m for Apollos, are you not carnal?
For when one says, ‘I belong to Paul’, and another, ‘I belong to Apollos’, are you not merely human?
For when one says, ‘I belong to Paul’, and another, ‘I belong to Apollos’, are you not merely human?
For when one says, “I belong to Paul,” and another, “I belong to Apollos,” are you not merely human?
For when one says, “I belong to Paul,” and another, “I belong to Apollos,” are you not all too human?
When someone says “I’m with Paul!” and someone else says “I’m with Apollos!” are you not mere humans?
For, whenever anyone says, "I am of Sha’ul," but another, "I am of Apollos," are you not as anshei shechichim (ordinary men)?
For when one says, ‘I am Paul’s’, and another, ‘I am Apollos’s’, are you not carnal?
For when one says, “I belong to Paul,” and another, “I belong to Apol′los,” are you not merely men?
For when one says, “I belong to Paul,” and another, “I belong to Apol′los,” are you not merely men?
For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” are you not mere humans?
If one of you is saying, “I am with Paul,” and the other says, “I am with Apollos,” aren’t you like everybody else?
For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” aren’t you fleshly?
One says, `I belong to Paul.' Another says, `I belong to Apollos.' Does not that show that you have the spirit of this world?
For when some saith, I am of Paul, and another, But I am of Apollos [another forsooth, I am of Apollos], whether ye be not [fleshly] men?
for when one may say, `I, indeed, am of Paul;' and another, `I -- of Apollos;' are ye not fleshly?
