1 Corinthians 14:1

Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather so that ye may prophesy.
Follow after love; yet desire earnestly spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.
Pursue [this] love [with eagerness, make it your goal], yet earnestly desire and cultivate the spiritual gifts [to be used by believers for the benefit of the church], but especially that you may prophesy [to foretell the future, to speak a new message from God to the people].
Eagerly pursue and seek to acquire [this] love [make it your aim, your great quest]; and earnestly desire and cultivate the spiritual endowments (gifts), especially that you may prophesy (interpret the divine will and purpose in inspired preaching and teaching).
Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.
Pursue love and desire spiritual gifts, and especially that you may prophesy.
Pursue love, and use your ambition to try to get spiritual gifts but especially so that you might prophesy.
Pursue love! However, keep on eagerly seeking the things of the Spirit; and especially seek to be able to prophesy.
Love should be your guide. Be eager to have the gifts that come from the Holy Spirit, especially the gift of prophecy.
Follow after love, and be emulous of spiritual [manifestations], but rather that ye may prophesy.
Be pursuing love. Now be zealous-for the spiritual gifts, but even-more that you might be prophesying.
Follow after charity, be zealous for spiritual gifts; but rather that you may prophesy.
Love should be the goal of your life, but you should also want to have the gifts that come from the Spirit. And the gift you should want most is to be able to prophesy.
So you must always want to love other people. Also, want very much to receive spiritual gifts from God. More than anything else, want to speak messages from God.
Keep on pursuing love, and eagerly seek spiritual gifts, but especially prophecy.
Pursue love, and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy.
Pursue love, and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy.
·You should seek after [Pursue; Make your aim] love, and ·you should truly want to have [eagerly desire; be zealous for] the spiritual gifts, especially the gift of prophecy.
1 He commendeth the gifts of prophecying: 7 and by a similitude taken of musical instruments, 12 he teacheth the true use of interpreting the Scriptures: 17 he taketh away the abuse: 34 And forbiddeth women to speak in the Congregation. Follow after love, and covet spiritual gifts, and rather that ye may prophesy.
Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially the gift of speaking what God has revealed.
It is love, then, that you should strive for. Set your hearts on spiritual gifts, especially the gift of proclaiming God's message.
Pursue love and desire spiritual gifts, and above all that you may prophesy.
Love, then, is what you should try for. And you should truly want to have the spiritual gifts. And the gift you should want most is to be able to prophesy.
Keep on pursuing love, and keep on desiring spiritual gifts, especially the ability to prophesy.
Follow, then, the way of love, while you set your heart on the gifts of the Spirit. The highest gift you can wish for is to be able to speak the messages of God. The man who speaks in a “tongue” addresses not men (for no one understands a word he says) but God: and only in his spirit is he speaking spiritual secrets. But he who preaches the word of God is using his speech for the building up of the faith of one man, the encouragement of another or the consolation of another. The speaker in a “tongue” builds up his own soul, but the preacher builds up the Church of God.
¶ Follow after charity and earnestly pursue spiritual gifts, but above all, that ye may prophesy.
Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.
Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.
Pursue love, yet earnestly desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.
Pursue love, and strive for spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.
Let love be your greatest aim; nevertheless, ask also for the special abilities the Holy Spirit gives, and especially the gift of prophecy, being able to preach the messages of God.
Go after a life of love as if your life depended on it—because it does. Give yourselves to the gifts God gives you. Most of all, try to proclaim his truth. If you praise him in the private language of tongues, God understands you but no one else does, for you are sharing intimacies just between you and him. But when you proclaim his truth in everyday speech, you’re letting others in on the truth so that they can grow and be strong and experience his presence with you.
Follow after love and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.
Pursue · love, and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.
Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially the gift of speaking what God has revealed.
Pursue love, but strive eagerly for the spiritual gifts, above all that you may prophesy.

Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.
You should want to have this love. You should want the gifts of the Holy Spirit and most of all to be able to speak God’s Word.
Let love be your highest goal! But you should also desire the special abilities the Spirit gives—especially the ability to prophesy.
Labour for love, and covet spiritual gifts, and most chiefly to prophesy.
Pursue love and strive for the spiritual gifts, and especially that you may prophesy.

Pursue love; and long for the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy.
Pursue ahavah (agape), and eagerly desire the things of the Ruach Hakodesh (matanot HaRuach Hakodesh), and especially that you may speak forth a dvar hanevu’ah (word of prophecy).
Pursue love, and desire spiritual things, more so that you may prophesy.
Make love your aim, and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy.
Make love your aim, and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy.
Pursue love and eagerly desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.
So in everything strive to love. Passionately seek the gifts of the Spirit, especially the gift of prophecy.
Follow after love and earnestly desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.
Love is the thing you should want more than anything else. But you should also want other things the Spirit gives. You should want very much to be able to speak words from God.
Follow ye charity, love ye spiritual things, but more that ye prophesy.
Pursue the love, and seek earnestly the spiritual things, and rather that ye may prophecy,
