Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus,
who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God,
but made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men.
And being found in the fashion of a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient unto death—even the death of the cross.
Therefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in Heaven and things on earth and things under the earth,
and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Have this mind in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
who, existing in the form of God, counted not the being on an equality with God a thing to be grasped,
but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men;
and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, becoming obedient even unto death, yea, the death of the cross.
Wherefore also God highly exalted him, and gave unto him the name which is above every name;
that in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven and things on earth and things under the earth,
and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Have this same attitude in yourselves which was in Christ Jesus [look to Him as your example in selfless humility],
who, although He existed in the form and unchanging essence of God [as One with Him, possessing the fullness of all the divine attributes—the entire nature of deity], did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped or asserted [as if He did not already possess it, or was afraid of losing it];
but emptied Himself [without renouncing or diminishing His deity, but only temporarily giving up the outward expression of divine equality and His rightful dignity] by assuming the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men [He became completely human but was without sin, being fully God and fully man].
After He was found in [terms of His] outward appearance as a man [for a divinely-appointed time], He humbled Himself [still further] by becoming obedient [to the Father] to the point of death, even death on a cross.
For this reason also [because He obeyed and so completely humbled Himself], God has highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name,
so that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow [in submission], of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and that every tongue will confess and openly acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord (sovereign God), to the glory of God the Father.
Let this same attitude and purpose and [humble] mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus: [Let Him be your example in humility:]
Who, although being essentially one with God and in the form of God [possessing the fullness of the attributes which make God God], did not think this equality with God was a thing to be eagerly grasped or retained,
But stripped Himself [of all privileges and rightful dignity], so as to assume the guise of a servant (slave), in that He became like men and was born a human being.
And after He had appeared in human form, He abased and humbled Himself [still further] and carried His obedience to the extreme of death, even the death of the cross!
Therefore [because He stooped so low] God has highly exalted Him and has freely bestowed on Him the name that is above every name,
That in (at) the name of Jesus every knee should (must) bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
And every tongue [frankly and openly] confess and acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Adopt the same attitude as that of Christ Jesus,
who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God as something to be exploited.
Instead he emptied himself by assuming the form of a servant, taking on the likeness of humanity. And when he had come as a man,
he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death— even to death on a cross.
For this reason God highly exalted him and gave him the name that is above every name,
so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow— in heaven and on earth and under the earth—
and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Adopt the attitude that was in Christ Jesus:
Though he was in the form of God, he did not consider being equal with God something to exploit.
But he emptied himself by taking the form of a slave and by becoming like human beings. When he found himself in the form of a human,
he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.
Therefore, God highly honored him and gave him a name above all names,
so that at the name of Jesus everyone in heaven, on earth, and under the earth might bow
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Let your attitude toward one another be governed by your being in union with the Messiah Yeshua:
Though he was in the form of God, he did not regard equality with God something to be possessed by force.
On the contrary, he emptied himself, in that he took the form of a slave by becoming like human beings are. And when he appeared as a human being,
he humbled himself still more by becoming obedient even to death — death on a stake as a criminal!
Therefore God raised him to the highest place and gave him the name above every name;
that in honor of the name given Yeshua, every knee will bow — in heaven, on earth and under the earth —
and every tongue will acknowledge that Yeshua the Messiah is Adonai — to the glory of God the Father.
and think the same way that Christ Jesus thought:
Christ was truly God. But he did not try to remain equal with God.
Instead he gave up everything and became a slave, when he became like one of us.
Christ was humble. He obeyed God and even died on a cross.
Then God gave Christ the highest place and honored his name above all others.
So at the name of Jesus everyone will bow down, those in heaven, on earth, and under the earth.
And to the glory of God the Father everyone will openly agree, “Jesus Christ is Lord!”
For let this mind be in you which [was] also in Christ Jesus;
who, subsisting in the form of God, did not esteem it an object of rapine to be on an equality with God;
but emptied himself, taking a bondman's form, taking his place in [the] likeness of men;
and having been found in figure as a man, humbled himself, becoming obedient even unto death, and [that the] death of [the] cross.
Wherefore also God highly exalted him, and granted him a name, that which is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of heavenly and earthly and infernal [beings],
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord to God [the] Father's glory.
Be thinking this in you, which also was in Christ Jesus—
Who, while being in the form of God, did not regard the being equal with God a thing-to-be-grasped,
but emptied Himself, having taken the form of a slave, having come in the likeness of humans. And having been found as a man in outward-appearance,
He humbled Himself, having become obedient to the point of death— and a death of a cross!
Therefore God also highly-exalted Him, and granted Him the name above every name
in-order-that every knee should bow at the name of Jesus— of heavenly ones and earthly ones and ones under-the-earth—
and every tongue should confess-out that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
For let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
But emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men, and in habit found as a man.
He humbled himself, becoming obedient unto death, even to the death of the cross.
For which cause God also hath exalted him, and hath given him a name which is above all names:
That in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those that are in heaven, on earth, and under the earth:
And that every tongue should confess that the Lord Jesus Christ is in the glory of God the Father.
In your life together, think the way Christ Jesus thought.
He was like God in every way, but he did not think that his being equal with God was something to use for his own benefit.
Instead, he gave up everything, even his place with God. He accepted the role of a servant, appearing in human form. During his life as a man,
he humbled himself by being fully obedient to God, even when that caused his death—death on a cross.
So God raised him up to the most important place and gave him the name that is greater than any other name.
God did this so that every person will bow down to honor the name of Jesus. Everyone in heaven, on earth, and under the earth will bow.
They will all confess, “Jesus Christ is Lord,” and this will bring glory to God the Father.
You should think about things in the same way that Christ Jesus thought:
Christ had the same nature as God. He was completely equal with God. But he did not try to keep hold of that.
Instead, he chose to leave heaven. He took for himself the nature of a slave. He became like a human.
And when he lived as a man, he made himself even less important. He obeyed God completely, so that he died. He even died on a cross!
Because of that, God then raised Jesus Christ to the most important place. God gave him the name that is greater than every other name.
As a result, when people hear Jesus' name, they must worship him. Everyone will have to go down on their knees in front of him. That includes everything that is in heaven, everything on the earth and everything under the earth.
Everyone will have to agree that Jesus Christ is Lord. When they say that aloud, they will show that God the Father is very great.
Indeed, let this attitude be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.
Though he was by nature God, he did not consider equality with God as a prize to be displayed,
but he emptied himself by taking the nature of a servant. When he was born in human likeness, and his appearance was like that of any other man,
he humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death—even death on a cross.
Therefore God also highly exalted him and gave him the name that is above every name,
so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus,
who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped,
but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.
And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.
Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name,
so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus,
who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped,
but made himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.
In your lives you must ·think and act like [have the same attitude as] Christ Jesus. [C What follows may be from an early Christian hymn.]
·Christ himself was like God in everything [L Who, being in the form of God]. But he did not think that being equal with God was something to be ·used for his own benefit [or grasped; seized; held on to].
But he ·gave up his place with God and made himself nothing [L emptied himself]. He ·became like [L took the form of] a ·servant [slave; bondservant] and was born ·as a man [L in the likeness of humanity/men].
And ·when he was living [L being found in appearance/likeness] as a ·man [human being], he humbled himself and was fully obedient to God, even ·when that caused his [to the point of] death—death on a cross.
So God ·raised [exalted] him to the highest place. God ·made his name [or gave him the name] ·greater than [far above] every other name
so that every knee will bow to the name of Jesus— everyone in heaven, on earth, and under the earth.
And ·everyone [L every tongue] will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and bring glory to God the Father.
Let the same mind be in you that was even in Christ Jesus,
Who being in the form of God, thought it no robbery to be equal with God:
But he made himself of no reputation, and took on him the form of a servant, and was made like unto men, and was found in shape as a man.
He humbled himself, and became obedient unto the death, even the death of the cross.
Wherefore God hath also highly exalted him, and given him a name above every name.
That at the Name of Jesus should every knee bow, both of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord, unto the glory of God the Father.
Have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.
Although he was in the form of God and equal with God, he did not take advantage of this equality.
Instead, he emptied himself by taking on the form of a servant, by becoming like other humans, by having a human appearance.
He humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, death on a cross.
This is why God has given him an exceptional honor— the name honored above all other names—
so that at the name of Jesus everyone in heaven, on earth, and in the world below will kneel
and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.
The attitude you should have is the one that Christ Jesus had:
He always had the nature of God, but he did not think that by force he should try to remain equal with God.
Instead of this, of his own free will he gave up all he had, and took the nature of a servant. He became like a human being and appeared in human likeness.
He was humble and walked the path of obedience all the way to death— his death on the cross.
For this reason God raised him to the highest place above and gave him the name that is greater than any other name.
And so, in honor of the name of Jesus all beings in heaven, on earth, and in the world below will fall on their knees,
and all will openly proclaim that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Make your own attitude that of Christ Jesus,
who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God as something to be used for His own advantage.
Instead He emptied Himself by assuming the form of a slave, taking on the likeness of men. And when He had come as a man in His external form,
He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death— even to death on a cross.
For this reason God highly exalted Him and gave Him the name that is above every name,
so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow— of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth—
and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
In your lives you must think and act like Christ Jesus.
Christ himself was like God in everything. He was equal with God. But he did not think that being equal with God was something to be held on to.
He gave up his place with God and made himself nothing. He was born as a man and became like a servant.
And when he was living as a man, he humbled himself and was fully obedient to God. He obeyed even when that caused his death—death on a cross.
So God raised Christ to the highest place. God made the name of Christ greater than every other name.
God wants every knee to bow to Jesus— everyone in heaven, on earth, and under the earth.
Everyone will say, “Jesus Christ is Lord” and bring glory to God the Father.
Have the same attitude among yourselves that was also in the Messiah Jesus:
In God’s own form existed he, and shared with God equality, deemed nothing needed grasping.
Instead, poured out in emptiness, a servant’s form did he possess, a mortal man becoming. In human form he chose to be,
and lived in all humility, death on a cross obeying.
Now lifted up by God to heaven, a name above all others given, this matchless name possessing.
And so, when Jesus’ name is called, the knees of everyone should fall, wherever they’re residing.
Then every tongue in one accord, will say that Jesus the Messiah is Lord, while God the Father praising.
Let Christ himself be your example as to what your attitude should be. For he, who had always been God by nature, did not cling to his prerogatives as God’s equal, but stripped himself of all privilege by consenting to be a slave by nature and being born as mortal man. And, having become man, he humbled himself by living a life of utter obedience, even to the extent of dying, and the death he died was the death of a common criminal. That is why God has now lifted him so high, and has given him the name beyond all names, so that at the name of Jesus “every knee shall bow”, whether in Heaven or earth or under the earth. And that is why, in the end, “every tongue shall confess” that Jesus Christ” is the Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus,
who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God,
but emptied himself, taking the form of a slave, made in the likeness of men,
and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. {Gr. stauros – stake}
Therefore, God also has highly exalted him and given him a name which is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven and things in earth and things under the earth,
and that every tongue should confess that the Lord Jesus Christ is Lord in the glory of God the Father.

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Have this way of thinking in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus,
who, although existing in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped,
but emptied Himself, by taking the form of a slave, by being made in the likeness of men.
Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.
Therefore, God also highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name,
so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Think this in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus,
who, existing in the form of God, did not consider being equal with God something to be grasped,
but emptied himself by taking the form of a slave, by becoming in the likeness of people. And being found in appearance like a man,
he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, that is, death on a cross.
Therefore also God exalted him and graciously granted him the name above every name,
so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven and of those on earth and of those under the earth,
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Your attitude should be the kind that was shown us by Jesus Christ,
who, though he was God, did not demand and cling to his rights as God,
but laid aside his mighty power and glory, taking the disguise of a slave and becoming like men.
And he humbled himself even further, going so far as actually to die a criminal’s death on a cross.
Yet it was because of this that God raised him up to the heights of heaven and gave him a name which is above every other name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Think of yourselves the way Christ Jesus thought of himself. He had equal status with God but didn’t think so much of himself that he had to cling to the advantages of that status no matter what. Not at all. When the time came, he set aside the privileges of deity and took on the status of a slave, became human! Having become human, he stayed human. It was an incredibly humbling process. He didn’t claim special privileges. Instead, he lived a selfless, obedient life and then died a selfless, obedient death—and the worst kind of death at that—a crucifixion.
Because of that obedience, God lifted him high and honored him far beyond anyone or anything, ever, so that all created beings in heaven and on earth—even those long ago dead and buried—will bow in worship before this Jesus Christ, and call out in praise that he is the Master of all, to the glorious honor of God the Father.
Let this mind be in you all, which was also in Christ Jesus,
who, being in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped.
But He emptied Himself, taking upon Himself the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men.
And being found in the form of a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to death, even death on a cross.
Therefore God highly exalted Him and gave Him the name which is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Your attitude toward one another should be the same as that of Christ Jesus,
who, although he was in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped,
but emptied himself, taking on the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of man. And being found in appearance as a man
he humbled himself, becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross!
Therefore · · God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name,
so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven, and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Have the same attitude that Christ Yeshua had.
Although he was in the form of God and equal with God, he did not take advantage of this equality.
Instead, he emptied himself by taking on the form of a servant, by becoming like other humans, by having a human appearance.
He humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, death on a cross.
This is why God has given him an exceptional honor— the name honored above all other names—
so that at the name of Yeshua everyone in heaven, on earth, and in the world below will kneel
and confess that Yeshua Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.
Have among yourselves the same attitude that is also yours in Christ Jesus,
Who, though he was in the form of God, did not regard equality with God something to be grasped.
Rather, he emptied himself, taking the form of a slave, coming in human likeness; and found human in appearance,
he humbled himself, becoming obedient to death, even death on a cross.
Because of this, God greatly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bend, of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus,
who, as He already existed in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
but emptied Himself by taking the form of a bond-servant and being born in the likeness of men.
And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death: death on a cross.
For this reason also God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name,
so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Let your attitude be identical to that of Christ Jesus.
Though he was in the form of God, he did not regard equality with God as something to be grasped.
Rather, he emptied himself, taking the form of a slave, being born in human likeness. Being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself, and became obedient to death, even death on a cross.
Because of this, God greatly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above all other names,
so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bend of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue should proclaim to the glory of God the Father: Jesus Christ is Lord.
In your lives you must think and act like Christ Jesus.
Christ himself was like God in everything. But he did not think that being equal with God was something to be used for his own benefit.
But he gave up his place with God and made himself nothing. He was born as a man and became like a servant.
And when he was living as a man, he humbled himself and was fully obedient to God, even when that caused his death—death on a cross.
So God raised him to the highest place. God made his name greater than every other name
so that every knee will bow to the name of Jesus— everyone in heaven, on earth, and under the earth.
And everyone will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and bring glory to God the Father.
You should have the same attitude toward one another that Christ Jesus had,
who though he existed in the form of God did not regard equality with God as something to be grasped,
but emptied himself by taking on the form of a slave, by looking like other men, and by sharing in human nature.
He humbled himself, by becoming obedient to the point of death —even death on a cross!
As a result God highly exalted him and gave him the name that is above every name,
so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow —in heaven and on earth and under the earth—
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.
As you deal with one another, you should think and act as Jesus did.
In his very nature he was God. Jesus was equal with God. But Jesus didn’t take advantage of that fact.
Instead, he made himself nothing. He did this by taking on the nature of a servant. He was made just like human beings.
He appeared as a man. He was humble and obeyed God completely. He did this even though it led to his death. Even worse, he died on a cross!
So God lifted him up to the highest place. God gave him the name that is above every name.
When the name of Jesus is spoken, everyone will kneel down to worship him. Everyone in heaven and on earth and under the earth will kneel down to worship him.
Everyone’s mouth will say that Jesus Christ is Lord. And God the Father will receive the glory.
In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:
Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;
rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross!
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:
who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;
rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death – even death on a cross!
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,
who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God,
but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.
And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,
and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Think as Christ Jesus thought.
Jesus has always been as God is. But He did not hold to His rights as God.
He put aside everything that belonged to Him and made Himself the same as a servant who is owned by someone. He became human by being born as a man.
After He became a man, He gave up His important place and obeyed by dying on a cross.
Because of this, God lifted Jesus high above everything else. He gave Him a name that is greater than any other name.
So when the name of Jesus is spoken, everyone in heaven and on earth and under the earth will bow down before Him.
And every tongue will say Jesus Christ is Lord. Everyone will give honor to God the Father.
You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.
Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to.
Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form,
he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross.
Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus,
who, being in the form of God, counted it not a prize to be equal to God,
but made himself of no reputation, and took on him the form of a servant, and became like humankind,
and was found in his appearance as a man. He humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
For this God has exalted him, and given him a name above all names,
so that in the name of Jesus every knee will bow, both of things in heaven and things in earth, and things under the earth,
and so that all tongues will confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus,
who, though he was in the form of God, did not regard equality with God as something to be exploited,
but emptied himself, taking the form of a slave, being born in human likeness. And being found in human form,
he humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death— even death on a cross.
Therefore God also highly exalted him and gave him the name that is above every name,
so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bend, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus,
who, though he existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God as something to be grasped,
but emptied himself, taking the form of a slave, assuming human likeness. And being found in appearance as a human,
he humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death— even death on a cross.
Therefore God exalted him even more highly and gave him the name that is above every other name,
so that at the name given to Jesus every knee should bend, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
This is how you should think among yourselves—with the mind that you have because you belong to the Messiah, Jesus:
Who, though in God’s form, did not regard his equality with God as something he ought to exploit.
Instead, he emptied himself, and received the form of a slave, being born in the likeness of humans. And then, having human appearance,
he humbled himself, and became obedient even to death, yes, even the death of the cross.
And so God has greatly exalted him, and to him in his favor has given the name which is over all names:
That now at the name of Jesus every knee within heaven shall bow— on earth, too, and under the earth;
And every tongue shall confess that Jesus, Messiah, is Lord, to the glory of God, the father.
Let this mind be in you which was also in Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach Yehoshua,
Who, though existing in the demut of the mode of being of Elohim [His etzem or essential nature, Yn 1:1-2; 17:5], nevertheless Moshiach did not regard being equal with G-d as a thing to be seized [BERESHIS 3:5],
But poured out and emptied himself [2C 8:9], taking the demut of the mode of being of an eved [YESHAYAH 52:13- 53:12 [T.N. see the AVDI TZADDIK TZEMACH DOVID MOSHIACH YIRMEYAH 23:5; ZECHARIAH 3:8], and was born in the likeness of Bnei Adam [Yn 1:14; Ro 8:3; MJ 2:14-17], and having been found in appearance as an Adam,
Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach humbled himself and took the path of shiflut (lowliness), unto mishma’at (obedience 2:12) [cf. BERESHIS 3:17] even unto death [Yn 10:17; MJ 5:8; 12:2], and that, a death on HaEtz [the Tree, DEVARIM 21:23; 27:26; Ga 3:13; Pp 3:18].
Therefore, also Hashem exalted [YESHAYAH 52:13; 53:12; DANIEL 9:26; 7:14; Ac 2:33; MJ 1:3] Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach, and gave to him haShem [Ep 1:21; MJ 1:4] above every name,
That at haShem of Yehoshua, KOL BERECH (every knee YESHAYAH 45:23) will bow, of beings b’Shomayim and ba’Aretz and mitachat laAretz (in the world below),
And KOL LASHON (every tongue YESHAYAH 45:23) shall make hoda’ah (confession) with an Ani Ma’amin that is an open and public admission that Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach Yehoshua (Yeshua) is Adoneinu, to the kavod of Elohim Avinu.
Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus;
Who, being in the form of God, did not eagerly desire equality with God as a prize.
But He emptied Himself and took on the form of a servant (and the likeness of a man, having been made).
He humbled Himself and became obedient to the death - even the death of the cross.
Therefore, God has highly exalted Him and given Him a Name above every Name.
That at the Name of Jesus, every knee should bow: in Heaven, and on Earth, and under the Earth.
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus,
who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped,
but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.
And being found in human form he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even death on a cross.
Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name which is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Have this mind among yourselves, which was in Christ Jesus,
who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped,
but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.
Have this attitude in yourselves, which also was in Messiah Yeshua,
Who, though existing in the form of God, did not consider being equal to God a thing to be grasped.
But He emptied Himself— taking on the form of a slave, becoming the likeness of men and being found in appearance as a man.
He humbled Himself— becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.
For this reason God highly exalted Him and gave Him the name that is above every name,
that at the name of Yeshua every knee should bow, in heaven and on the earth and under the earth,
and every tongue profess that Yeshua the Messiah is Lord— to the glory of God the Father.
In other words, adopt the mind-set of Jesus the Anointed. Live with His attitude in your hearts. Remember:
Though He was in the form of God, He chose not to cling to equality with God;
But He poured Himself out to fill a vessel brand new; a servant in form and a man indeed. The very likeness of humanity,
He humbled Himself, obedient to death— a merciless death on the cross!
So God raised Him up to the highest place and gave Him the name above all.
So when His name is called, every knee will bow, in heaven, on earth, and below.
And every tongue will confess “Jesus, the Anointed One, is Lord,” to the glory of God our Father!
Have this in your mind, which was also in Christ Jesus,
who, existing in the form of God, didn’t consider equality with God a thing to be grasped,
but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men.
And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to the point of death, yes, the death of the cross.
Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth,
and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Think the same way Jesus Christ thought.
He was in every way like God. Yet he did not think that being equal to God was something he must hold on to.
He gave this up and became a servant. He was born a baby.
And when he was a man, he was humble. He was even willing to die, yes, to die on a cross.
That is why God has made him very great. God has given him a name above every name.
Everyone in heaven, everyone on earth, and everyone under the earth will kneel before the name of Jesus.
Everyone will admit that Jesus Christ is Lord. They will praise God the Father for this.
And feel ye this thing in you, which was also in Christ Jesus;
which when he was in the form of God, deemed not raven, that himself were even to God; [which when he was in the form of God, deemed not raven, himself to be even to God;]
but he lowed himself [but he meeked himself], taking the form of a servant, and was made into the likeness of men,
and in habit was found as a man. He meeked himself, and was made obedient to the death, yea, to the death of the cross.
For which thing God enhanced him, and gave to him a name that is above all name; [For which thing and God enhanced him, and gave to him a name that is above all names;]
that in the name of Jesus each knee be bowed, of heavenly things, [and] of earthly things, and of hell's;
and each tongue acknowledge, that the Lord Jesus Christ is in the glory of God the Father.
For, let this mind be in you that [is] also in Christ Jesus,
who, being in the form of God, thought [it] not robbery to be equal to God,
but did empty himself, the form of a servant having taken, in the likeness of men having been made,
and in fashion having been found as a man, he humbled himself, having become obedient unto death -- death even of a cross,
wherefore, also, God did highly exalt him, and gave to him a name that [is] above every name,
that in the name of Jesus every knee may bow -- of heavenlies, and earthlies, and what are under the earth --
and every tongue may confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
