But every vow of a widow and of her that is divorced, wherewith they have bound their souls, shall stand against her.
But the vow of a widow, or of her that is divorced, even everything wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand against her.
“But the vow of a widow or of a divorced woman, everything by which she has bound herself, shall stand against her.
But the vow of a widow or of a divorced woman, with which she has bound herself, shall stand against her.
But every vow of a widow, and of her that is divorced, wherewith they have bound their souls, shall stand against her.
“Every vow a widow or divorced woman puts herself under is binding on her.
Every solemn promise of a widow or a divorced woman who makes a binding obligation for herself will stand.
But if her husband expresses his disapproval on the day he hears it, he will void the vow which is on her and the obligation to which she has bound herself; and Adonai will forgive her.
Widows and divorced women must keep every promise they make to the Lord.
But the vow of a widow, and of her that is divorced,—everything wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand against her.
But if as soon as he heareth he gainsay it, and make her promises and the words wherewith she had bound her soul of no effect: the Lord will forgive her.
“A widow or a divorced woman might make a special promise. If she does, she must do exactly what she promised.
If a woman no longer has a husband, she must do whatever she has promised to the Lord. Maybe she is a widow, or she has become separate from her husband.
But the vow of a widow or a divorced woman, every obligation which she put herself under, will be binding on her.
(But any vow of a widow or of a divorced woman, anything by which she has bound herself, shall stand against her.)
(But any vow of a widow or of a divorced woman, anything by which she has bound herself, shall stand against her.)
“If a widow or divorced woman makes a ·promise [vow], ·she must do whatever she promised [L all by which she bound herself stands].
But if her husband disallow her the same day that he heareth it, then shall he make her vow which she hath made, and that that she hath pronounced with her lips, wherewith she bound herself, of none effect: and the Lord will forgive her.
“But a widow or a divorced woman must keep her vow or her promise.
A widow or a divorced woman must keep every vow she makes and every promise to abstain from something.
“Every vow a widow or divorced woman puts herself under is binding on her.
“A widow or divorced woman might make a promise. She must do whatever she promised.
“Everything that a widow or a divorced woman pledges herself to fulfill are to be binding on her.
But every vow of a widow and of her that is divorced, with which they have bound their souls, shall stand.
But every vow of a widow, and of her that is divorced, wherewith they have bound their souls, shall stand against her.
But every vow of a widow, and of her that is divorced, wherewith they have bound their souls, shall stand against her.
“But the vow of a widow or of a divorced woman, everything by which she has bound herself, shall stand against her.
“But the vow of a widow or a woman who is divorced, all that she binds on herself will stand on her.
“But if the woman is a widow or is divorced, she must fulfill her vow.
“Any vow or pledge taken by a widow or divorced woman is binding on her.
But every vow of a widow and of her that is divorced, with which she has bound herself, will stand against her.
“But a widow or a divorced woman must keep her vow or her promise.
But if on the day her husband learns of it he opposes her, he thereby annuls the vow she had made or the rash pledge to which she had bound herself, and the Lord will release her from it.
“But as for the vow of a widow or of a divorced woman, every binding obligation under which she has put herself, shall remain valid against her.
“But the vow of a widow or of a divorced woman, everything by which she has bound herself, shall stand against her.
“Any vow or obligation made by a widow or a divorced woman by which she bound herself will be binding.
“If a widow or divorced woman makes a promise, she must do whatever she promised.
“But every vow of a widow or of a divorced woman which she has pledged for herself will remain intact.
“Suppose a widow makes a special promise. Or suppose she gives her word to do something. Then she must keep her promise. She must do what she agreed to do. The same rules apply to a woman who has been divorced.
“Any vow or obligation taken by a widow or divorced woman will be binding on her.
‘Any vow or obligation taken by a widow or divorced woman will be binding on her.
“Also any vow of a widow or a divorced woman, by which she has bound herself, shall stand against her.
“A woman whose husband has died or left her must keep the promises she has sworn to keep.
If, however, a woman is a widow or is divorced, she must fulfill all her vows and pledges.
(But every vow of a widow or of a divorced woman, by which she has bound herself, shall be binding upon her.)
(But every vow of a widow or of a divorced woman, by which she has bound herself, shall be binding upon her.)
(But every vow of a widow or of a divorced woman, by which she has bound herself, shall be binding upon her.)
(But every vow of a widow or of a divorced woman, by which she has bound herself, shall be binding upon her.)
But every neder of an almanah, and of a gerushah (divorced woman), wherewith she have bound her nefesh, shall stand against her.
But any vow of a widow or of a divorced woman, anything by which she has bound herself, shall stand against her.
But any vow of a widow or of a divorced woman, anything by which she has bound herself, shall stand against her.
“Any vow or obligation of a widow or a divorced woman will be binding on her.
If a woman makes such a binding statement in the hearing of her father (if she’s not married) or husband (if she is married), and he keeps quiet, then the promise stands. But if her father or her husband (depending on her marital status) disapproves of what she said, then she’s not bound by whatever she promised, and the Eternal won’t hold it against her. If she gets married after making a vow or pledge (even a rash one) and her husband knows about it but says nothing, then she’s responsible for keeping those promises. But if her husband hears about some rash promise she made and says that he thinks it’s foolish, then he can erase any obligation she had to keep it. The Eternal will forgive her. A woman who’s not connected to any man—a widow or divorcée—must take full responsibility for keeping her promises.
“But the vow of a widow, or of her who is divorced, everything with which she has bound her soul shall stand against her.
A widow, and a woman forsaken of her husband, shall yield, whatever thing they avow. (Regarding a widow, or a woman forsaken by her husband, both shall yield whatever thing they have vowed.)
`As to the vow of a widow or cast-out woman, all that she hath bound on her soul is established on her.
