Leviticus 19:8

Therefore every one who eateth it shall bear his iniquity, because he hath profaned the hallowed thing of the Lord; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

Whoever eats it will be held responsible because he has violated what is holy to God. That person will be cut off from his people.
