Version
Acts 3:12-19

12 But when Peter saw this, he replied to the people, “Men of Israel, why do you marvel at this, or why do you gaze at us, as if by our own power or piety we had made him walk? 13 (A)The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, (B)the God of our fathers, has glorified His (C)Servant Jesus, whom (D)you delivered and denied in the presence of (E)Pilate, when he had (F)decided to release Him. 14 But you denied (G)the Holy and Righteous One and (H)asked for a murderer to be granted to you, 15 but put to death the (I)Author of life, whom (J)God raised from the dead, a fact to which we are (K)witnesses. 16 And on the basis of faith (L)in His name, it is [a]the name of Jesus which has strengthened this man whom you see and know; and the faith which is through Him has given him this perfect health in the presence of you all.

17 “And now, brothers, I know that you acted (M)in ignorance, just as your (N)rulers did also. 18 But the things which (O)God announced beforehand by the mouth of all the prophets, (P)that His [b]Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled. 19 Therefore (Q)repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that [c](R)times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord;

Psalm 4

Yahweh Makes Me Abide in Safety

[a]For the choir director. With stringed instruments. A Psalm of David.

(A)Answer me when (B)I call, O God [b]of my righteousness!
You have [c](C)relieved me in my distress;
Be (D)gracious to me and (E)hear my prayer.

O sons of men, how long will (F)my glory become (G)a reproach?
How long will you love (H)what is worthless and seek (I)falsehood? [d]Selah.
But know that Yahweh has [e](J)set apart the (K)holy one for Himself;
Yahweh (L)hears when I call to Him.

[f](M)Tremble, [g](N)and do not sin;
[h](O)Ponder in your heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.
Offer [i]the (P)sacrifices of righteousness,
And (Q)trust in Yahweh.

Many are saying, “(R)Who will show us good?”
(S)Lift up the light of Your face upon us, O Yahweh!
You have put (T)gladness in my heart,
More than when their grain and new wine abound.
In peace I will [j]both (U)lie down and sleep,
For You alone, O Yahweh, make me to (V)abide in safety.

1 John 3:1-7

Children of God, Love One Another

See [a](A)how great a love the Father has given to us, that we would be called (B)children of God; and we are. For this reason the world does not know us, because (C)it did not know Him. (D)Beloved, now we are (E)children of God, and (F)it has not been manifested as yet what we will be. We know that when He (G)is manifested, we will be (H)like Him, because we will (I)see Him just as He is. And everyone who has this (J)hope fixed on Him (K)purifies himself, just as He is pure.

Everyone who does sin also does lawlessness; and (L)sin is lawlessness. And you know that He (M)was manifested in order to (N)take away sins, and (O)in Him there is no sin. No one who abides in Him (P)sins; no one who sins has seen Him or [b](Q)has come to know Him. (R)Little children, let no one (S)deceive you. (T)The one who does righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous.

Luke 24:36-48

Jesus Appears to His Disciples

36 Now while they were telling these things, (A)He Himself stood in their midst and *said to them, “Peace to you.” 37 But being startled and frightened, they were thinking that they were seeing (B)a spirit. 38 And He said to them, “Why are you troubled, and why do doubts arise in your [a]hearts? 39 (C)See My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself; (D)touch Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have.” 40 And when He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet. 41 And while they still (E)were not believing because of their joy and were still marveling, He said to them, (F)Have you anything here to eat?” 42 They gave Him a piece of a broiled fish, 43 and He took it and (G)ate it before them.

44 Now He said to them, (H)These are My words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things which are written about Me in the (I)Law of Moses and the Prophets and (J)the Psalms must be fulfilled.” 45 Then He (K)opened their [b]minds to understand the Scriptures, 46 and He said to them, (L)Thus it is written, that the [c]Christ would suffer and (M)rise again from the dead the third day, 47 and that (N)repentance [d]for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed [e]in His name to (O)all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. 48 You are (P)witnesses of these things.
