マルコ 4:30-34
神の王国はどんな国？
（マタイ13:31-32, 34-35; ルカ13:18-19）
30 それからイエスが言った。「神の王国を表すのに何が使えるかな？何と比べらることが出来るだろうか？ 31 神の王国は、からし種のようだ。この地で植える種の中でどの種よりも小さい。 32 だが、お前たちがその種を植える時、自分の庭にあるどの植木よりも大きく育つ！鳥たちが木陰に巣を作れるほどの十分な大きさの枝がなるのだ！」
33 イエスはこのような多くの例え話を使って人々に教えたが、ほとんどの人がこれらの例え話を理解できなかった。 34 イエスはいつも物語を使って人に教えたが、弟子たちだけになると、彼らに全ての物語の解説をしたのだ。
