Version
Malachi 4:1-2

“For behold, the day cometh that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly shall be stubble. And the day that cometh shall burn them up,” saith the Lord of hosts, “that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

But unto you that fear My name shall the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing in His wings; and ye shall go forth and grow up as calves from the stall.

Psalm 98

98 O sing unto the Lord a new song, for He hath done marvelous things! His right hand and His holy arm hath gotten Him the victory.

The Lord hath made known His salvation; His righteousness hath He openly shown in the sight of the heathen.

He hath remembered His mercy and His truth toward the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth! Make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise!

Sing unto the Lord with the harp, with the harp and the voice of a psalm.

With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the Lord, the King!

Let the sea roar and the fullness thereof, the world and they that dwell therein.

Let the floods clap their hands, let the hills be joyful together

before the Lord. For He cometh to judge the earth; with righteousness shall He judge the world, and the people with equity.

2 Thessalonians 3:6-13

Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother who walketh disorderly and not according to the tradition which he received from us.

For you yourselves know how ye ought to follow us, for we did not behave disorderly among you;

neither did we eat any man’s bread for naught, but wrought with labor and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you,

not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an example unto you to follow us.

10 For even when we were with you, this we commanded you: that if any would not work, neither should he eat.

11 For we hear that there are some among you who walk disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.

12 Now those who are such, we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ that they work with quietness and eat their own bread.

13 But ye, brethren, be not weary in well-doing.

Luke 21:5-19

And when some spoke of the temple and how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, He said,

“As for these things which ye behold, the days will come in which there shall not be left one stone upon another that shall not be thrown down.”

And they asked Him, saying, “Master, but when shall these things be? And what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?”

And He said, “Take heed that ye be not deceived, for many shall come in My name, saying, ‘I am Christ,’ and, ‘the time draweth near.’ Go ye not therefore after them.

But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified, for these things must first come to pass. But the end is not at once.”

10 Then said He unto them, “Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom,

11 and great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines and pestilences. And fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and into prisons, and you will be brought before kings and rulers for My name’s sake.

13 And it shall turn to you to bear testimony.

14 Settle it therefore in your hearts not to meditate beforehand what ye shall answer.

15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.

16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents and brethren and kinsfolk and friends, and some of you they shall cause to be put to death.

17 And ye shall be hated by all men for My name’s sake.

18 But there shall not a hair of your head perish.

19 In your patience possess ye your souls.
