Isaiah 1:10-18

10 Hear the word of the Lord, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah:

11 “To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto Me?” saith the Lord. “I am full of the burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs or of hegoats.

12 When you come to appear before Me, who hath required this from your hand, to tread My courts?

13 Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto Me. The new moons and Sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot endure. It is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.

14 Your new moons and your appointed feasts My soul hateth; they are a trouble unto Me, I am weary of bearing them.

15 And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide Mine eyes from you; yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear; your hands are full of blood.

16 Wash you, make you clean, put away the evil of your doings from before Mine eyes. Cease to do evil,

17 learn to do well. Seek judgment, relieve the oppressed; judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.

18 “Come now, and let us reason together,” saith the Lord. “Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Psalm 32:1-7

32 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.

When I kept silent, my bones waxed old through my groaning all the day long.

For day and night Thy hand was heavy upon me; the sap of my soul was turned into the drought of summer. Selah

I acknowledged my sin unto Thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, “I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord,” and Thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah

For this shall every one that is godly pray unto Thee in a time when Thou mayest be found; surely the floods of great waters shall not come nigh unto him.

Thou art my hiding place; Thou shalt preserve me from trouble; Thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah

2 Thessalonians 1:1-4

Paul, and Silvanus, and Timothy, Unto the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:

Grace unto you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth,

so that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all persecutions and tribulations that ye endure,

2 Thessalonians 1:11-12

11 Therefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power,

12 that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Luke 19:1-10

19 And Jesus entered and passed through Jericho.

And behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus who was the chief among the publicans, and he was rich.

And he sought to see Jesus, who He was, but could not for the press of the crowd, because he was short in stature.

And he ran ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see Him, for He was to pass that way.

And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him, and said unto him, “Zacchaeus, make haste and come down, for today I must abide at thy house.”

And he made haste and came down, and received Him joyfully.

And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying that He had gone to be the guest of a man who was a sinner.

And Zacchaeus stood and said unto the Lord, “Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken anything from any man by false accusation, I restore to him fourfold.”

And Jesus said unto him, “This day is salvation come to this house, in that he also is a son of Abraham.

10 For the Son of Man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.”
