Version
Psalm 82

82 God stands in the assembly of gods. He judges among gods.

How long will you judge unjustly and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.

Do right to the poor and fatherless. Do justice to the poor and needy.

Deliver the poor and needy. Save them from the hand of the wicked.

They do not know, and understand nothing. They walk in darkness. All the foundations of the Earth are moved.

I have said, “You are gods. And you all are children of the Most High.

“But you shall die as a man. And you, Princes, shall fall like others.”

O God, arise! Judge the Earth! For You shall inherit all nations. A song, or Psalm, committed to Asaph

Psalm 87

87 God laid His foundations among the holy mountains.

The LORD loves the gates of Zion above all the habitations of Jacob.

Glorious things are spoken of You, O City of God! Selah.

I will make mention of Rahab and Babel among those who know me. Behold Palestine and Tyre with Ethiopia. There He is born.

And it shall be said of Zion, “Many are born in her; and He, the Most High, shall establish her.”

The LORD shall count, when He writes the people, “He was born there.” Selah.

Both the singers and the players on instruments shall praise You, “All my springs are in You.” A song, or Psalm, of Heman the Ezrahite, to give instruction; committed to the sons of Korah for him who excels upon Mahalath Leannoth

Isaiah 52:7-12

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who declares and publishes peace, who declares good tidings and publishes salvation, saying to Zion, “Your God reigns!”

The voice of your watchmen shall be heard. They shall lift up their voices and shout together. For they shall see eye to eye when the LORD shall restore Zion.

O, you desolate places of Jerusalem, be glad and rejoice together! For the LORD has comforted His people! He has redeemed Jerusalem!

10 The LORD has made His Holy Arm bare in the sight of all the Gentiles. And all the ends of the Earth shall see the salvation of our God.

11 Depart! Depart! Go out from there and touch no unclean thing! Go out of the midst of her. Be clean, you who bear the vessels of the LORD.

12 For you shall not go out with haste or depart by fleeing away. But the LORD will go before you. And the God of Israel will gather you together.

Hebrews 2:5-10

For He has not put the world to come (whereof we speak) in subjection to the angels.

But one in a certain place witnessed, saying, “What is man that You should be mindful of him; or the son of man that You would consider him?

“You made him a little inferior to the angels. You crowned him with glory and honor and have set him above the works of Your Hands.

“You have put all things in subjection under his feet.” And in that He has put all things in subjection under him, He left nothing that should not be subject to him. But we still do not see all things subjected to him.

But we see Jesus, who was made little inferior to the angels, crowned with glory and honor through the suffering of death. That by God’s grace He might taste death for everyone.

10 For it became Him for Whom all these things are - and by Whom all these things are (seeing that He brought many children to Glory) - that He should consecrate the Author of their salvation through afflictions.

Psalm 110

110 The LORD said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, until I make Your enemies Your footstool.”

The LORD shall send the rod of Your power out of Zion. Be ruler in the midst of Your enemies.

Your people shall come willingly at the time of assembling Your army in Holy beauty. The youth of Your womb shall be as the morning dew.

The LORD swore, and will not repent, “You are a priest forever, after the order of Melchizedek.”

The Lord at Your right hand shall wound kings on the day of His wrath.

He shall be judge among the heathen. He shall fill all with dead bodies and strike the leaders of great countries.

He shall drink from the brook on the way. Therefore, He shall lift up His head. Praise the LORD

Psalm 132

132 LORD, remember David with all his affliction.

Who swore to the LORD, vowed to the Mighty of Jacob,

“I will not enter into the tabernacle of my house, nor come upon my pallet (my bed),

“nor allow my eyes to sleep, nor my eyelids to slumber,

“until I find a place for the LORD, a habitation for the Mighty of Jacob.”

Lo, we heard of it in Ephrathah and found it in the fields of the forest.

We will enter into His Tabernacles and worship before His footstool.

Arise, O LORD, into Your rest, You and the Ark of Your strength.

Let Your priests be clothed with righteousness; and let Your saints rejoice.

10 For Your servant David’s sake, do not refuse the face of Your Anointed.

11 The LORD has sworn to David in truth; and He will not shrink from it, saying, “From the fruit of your body will I set upon your throne.

12 “If your sons keep My Covenant, and My testimonies, so that I shall teach them, their sons also shall sit upon your throne forever.”

13 For the LORD has chosen Zion and loved to dwell in it, saying,

14 “This is My rest, forever. Here will I dwell; for I have desired it.

15 “I will surely bless her provisions and will satisfy her poor with bread

16 “and will clothe her priests with salvation; and her saints shall shout for joy.

17 “There I will make the horn of David bud. I have ordained a Light for My Anointed.

18 “I will clothe His enemies with shame; but on Him His crown shall flourish.” A song of degrees, or Psalm, of Solomon

John 1:9-14

that is, the true Light, which, coming into the world, lights all mankind.

10 He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not.

11 He came to His own, and His own received Him not.

12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave power to be children of God, to those who believe in His Name,

13 who are born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

14 And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us. And we saw the Glory of Him, as the Glory of the Only Begotten One of the Father, full of grace and truth.
