Psalm 93

93 The LORD reigns and is clothed with majesty. The LORD is clothed and girded with power. Also, the world shall be established, so that it cannot be moved.

Your throne is established of old. You are from everlasting.

The floods have lifted up, O LORD. The floods have lifted up their voice. The floods lift up their waves.

The waves of the sea are marvelous through the noise of many waters. The LORD on High is more mighty.

Your testimonies are very sure. Holiness becomes Your House, O LORD, forever.

Psalm 96

96 Sing to the LORD a new song! Sing to the LORD all the Earth!

Sing to the LORD! Praise His Name! Declare His salvation from day to day.

Declare His Glory among all nations, His wonders among all people.

For the LORD is great and greatly to be praised. He is to be feared above all gods.

For all the gods of the people are idols. But the LORD made the heavens.

Strength and glory are before Him. Power and beauty are in His Sanctuary.

Give to the LORD, you families of the people! Give to the LORD glory and power!

Give to the LORD the glory of His Name. Bring an offering and enter into His courts.

Worship the LORD in the glorious Sanctuary. Tremble before Him, all the Earth.

10 Say among the nations, “The LORD reigns!” Surely, the world shall be stable and not move; and He shall judge the people in righteousness.

11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the Earth be glad! Let the sea roar, and all that therein is.

12 Let the field be joyful, and all that is in it! Let all the trees of the wood then rejoice

13 before the LORD. For He comes. For He comes to judge the Earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, and the people in His truth.

Psalm 34

34 I will always give thanks to the LORD. His praise shall be in my mouth continually.

My soul shall glory in the LORD. The humble shall hear it and be glad.

Praise the LORD with me; and let us magnify His Name together.

I sought the LORD, and He heard me. Indeed, He delivered me out of all my fear.

They shall look to Him and run; and their faces shall not be ashamed.

This poor man cried; and the LORD heard and saved him out of all his troubles.

The Angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him and delivers them.

Taste and see how gracious the LORD is. Blessed is the man who trusts in Him.

Fear the LORD, you, His saints. For those who fear Him lack nothing.

10 The lions lack and suffer hunger. But those who seek the LORD shall lack nothing that is good.

11 Come children, hear me. I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

12 What man is he who desires life and loves long days to see good?

13 Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips, so that they speak no deceit.

14 Turn from evil and do good. Seek peace and follow after it.

15 The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous; and His ears are open to their cry.

16 The face of the LORD is against those who do evil, to cut off their remembrance from the Earth.

17 The righteous cry and the LORD hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.

18 The LORD is near to those who are of a contrite heart; and will save such as are afflicted in spirit.

19 Great are the troubles of the righteous. But the LORD delivers him out of them all.

20 He keeps all His bones. Not one of them is broken.

21 Malice shall slay the wicked; and those who hate the righteous shall perish.

22 The LORD redeems the souls of His servants; and no one who trusts in Him shall perish. A Psalm of David.

Jeremiah 6:9-15

Thus says the LORD of Hosts: “They shall gather, the residue of Israel, as a vine. Return your hand into the baskets, as does the grape gatherer.”

10 To whom shall I speak, and admonish, so that they may hear? Behold, their ears are uncircumcised, and they cannot listen. Behold, the Word of the LORD is as a reproach to them. They have no delight in it.

11 Therefore, I am full of the wrath of the LORD. I am weary with holding it. “I will pour it out upon the children in the street, and likewise upon the assembly of the young men. For the husband shall be taken with the wife, the aged with him who is full of days,

12 “and their houses with their lands. And wives, also, shall be turned to strangers. For I will stretch out My Hand upon the inhabitants of the land,” says the LORD.

13 “For from the least of them to the greatest of them, everyone is given to covetousness, and from the Prophet to the Priest, they all deal falsely.

14 “They have also slightly healed the hurt of My people, saying, ‘Peace, peace,’ when there is no peace.

15 “Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? No, they were not ashamed. Nor could they have any shame. Therefore, they shall fall among the slain when I shall visit them. They shall be cast down,” says the LORD.

1 Corinthians 6:12-20

12 All things are lawful to me. But all things are not profitable. I may do all things, but I will not be brought under the power of anything.

13 Foods for the belly, and the belly for the foods. But God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.

14 And God has also raised up the Lord, and shall raise us up, by His power.

15 Do you not know that your bodies are the members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them the members of a prostitute? Absolutely not!

16 Do you not know that he who couples himself with a prostitute is one body? For two, says He, shall be one flesh.

17 But the one who is joined to the Lord, is one spirit.

18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man does is outside the body. But the one who commits fornication, sins against his own body.

19 Do you not know that your body is the Temple of the Holy Ghost, Who is in you; Whom you have from God? And you are not your own.

20 For you are bought for a price. Therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit. For they are God’s.

Mark 5:1-20

And they came over to the other side of the sea into the country of the Gadarenes.

And when He had come out of the ship, a man who had an unclean spirit met him immediately from out of the graves.

He dwelt among the graves. And no one could bind him, not even with chains.

Because, when he was often bound with shackles and chains, he broke the chains apart and destroyed the shackles. Nor could anyone tame him.

And always, both night and day, he cried in the mountains, and in the graves, and struck himself with stones.

And when he saw Jesus at a distance, he ran and worshipped Him,

and cried with a loud voice, and said, “What have I to do with You, Jesus the Son of the Most High God!? Swear to me by God that You will not torment me!”

(For He said to him, “Come out of the man, you unclean spirit.”)

And He asked him, “What is your name?” And he answered, saying, “My name is Legion. For we are many.”

10 And he urged Jesus not to send them away out of the country.

11 Now there was there in the mountains a great heard of swine, feeding.

12 And all the demons begged Him, saying, “Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.”

13 And immediately, Jesus gave them leave. Then the unclean spirits went out and entered into the swine. And the herd ran headlong from the high bank into the sea, (and there were about two thousand swine) and they were choked up in the sea.

14 And the swineherds fled, and told of it in the city, and in the country. And they came out to see what had been done.

15 And they came to Jesus. And they saw him who had been possessed with the demon and had the legion, sit, both clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid.

16 And those who saw it told them what had been done to him who had been possessed with the demon and concerning the swine.

17 Then they began to beg Jesus to depart from their coasts.

18 And when He had come into the ship, he who had been possessed with the demon begged him to let him join them.

19 But Jesus would not allow it, and said to him, “Go home to your friends and show them what great things the Lord has done for you; and how He has had compassion on you.”

20 So he departed and began to proclaim in Decapolis what great things Jesus had done for him. And all marveled.
