66 Rejoice in God, all the Earth!
2 Sing forth the Glory of His Name! Make His praise glorious!
3 Say to God, “How terrible are You in Your works! Through the greatness of Your power shall Your enemies be in subjection to You.
4 “All the world shall worship You and sing to You. Sing of Your Name!” Selah.
5 Come and behold the works of God. He is terrible in His doings toward the sons of men.
6 He has turned the sea into dry land. They passed through the river on foot. We rejoiced in Him there.
7 He rules the world with His power. His eyes behold the nations. The rebellious shall not exalt themselves. Selah.
8 Praise our God, you people, and make the voice of His praise heard.
9 He holds our souls in life and does not let our feet slip.
10 For You, O God, have tested us. You have refined us as silver is refined.
11 You have brought us into the net. You put pressure upon our loins.
12 You have caused men to ride over our heads. We went into fire and into water; but You brought us out into abundance.
13 I will go into Your House with burnt offerings and will pay You my vows
14 which my lips have promised; and my mouth has spoken in my affliction.
15 I will offer to You the burnt offerings of fat rams with incense. I will prepare bullocks and goats. Selah.
16 Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will tell you what He has done to my soul.
17 I called to Him with my mouth and He was exalted with my tongue.
18 If I regard wickedness in my heart, the LORD will not hear me.
19 But God has heard me and considered the voice of my prayer.
20 Praised God, Who has turned away neither my prayer nor His mercy. To him who excels on Neginoth: A psalm or song
67 God be merciful to us and bless us. Cause His face to shine among us (Selah),
2 so that they may know Your way upon Earth and Your saving health among all nations.
3 Let the people praise You, O God. Let all the people praise You.
4 Let the people be glad and rejoice; for You shall judge the people righteously and govern the nations upon the Earth. Selah.
5 Let the people praise You, O God. Let all the people praise You.
6 Then shall the Earth bring forth her increase; and God, even our God, shall bless us.
7 God shall bless us, and all the ends of the Earth shall fear Him. To him who excels: A psalm or song of David
19 The heavens declare the Glory of God, and the firmament shows the work of His Hands.
2 Day unto day utters the same, and night unto night teaches knowledge.
3 There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard.
4 Their line has gone forth through all the earth; and their words into the ends of the world. In them He has set a tabernacle for the Sun,
5 which comes forth as a bridegroom out of his chamber, and rejoices like a mighty man to run his race.
6 His going out is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit is to the ends of the same, and nothing is hidden from the heat thereof.
7 The Law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul. The testimony of the LORD is sure and gives wisdom to the simple.
8 The Statutes of the LORD are right and rejoice the heart. The Commandment of the LORD is pure and gives light to the eyes.
9 The fear of the LORD is clean and endures forever. The judgments of the LORD are truth. They are righteous altogether,
10 and more to be desired than gold—yea, than much fine gold—sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11 Moreover, by them your servant is made circumspect, and in the keeping of them there is great reward.
12 Who can understand his faults? Cleanse me from secret faults.
13 Keep your servant from presumptuous sins, also. Do not let them reign over me. So, shall I be upright and made clean from much wickedness.
14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD my strength, and my redeemer. To him who excels. A Psalm of David.
46 God is our hope and strength; help in troubles, ready to be found.
2 Therefore, we will not fear, though the Earth be moved and though the mountains fall into the midst of the sea.
3 The waters thereof rage and are troubled; the mountains shake at the surges of the same. Selah.
4 Still, there is a River whose stream shall make glad the City of God, the Sanctuary of the Tabernacles of the Most High.
5 God is in the midst of it; therefore, it shall not be moved. God shall help it in the dawning.
6 When the nations raged and the kingdoms were moved, God thundered, and the Earth melted.
7 The LORD of hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
8 Come and behold the works of the LORD, what desolations He has made on the Earth.
9 He makes wars cease, to the ends of the world. He breaks the bow and cuts the spear and burns the chariots with fire.
10 “Be still and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the heathen. I will be exalted on the Earth.”
11 The LORD of Hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. To him who excels: A Psalm committed to the sons of Korah.
14 The Word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah concerning the drought.
2 “Judah has mourned, and its gates are desolate. They have been brought to heaviness, to the ground, and the cry of Jerusalem goes up.
3 “And their nobles have sent their inferiors to the water, who came to the wells and found no water. They returned with their vessels empty. They were ashamed and confounded and covered their heads.
4 “For the ground was destroyed because there was no rain on the Earth. The plowmen were ashamed, covering their heads.
5 “Yea, the deer also calved in the field, and left it, because there was no grass.
6 “And the wild donkeys stood in the high places and drew in their wind like dragons. Their eyes failed because there was no grass.”
7 O LORD, though our iniquities testify against us, deal with us according to Your Name. For our rebellions are many. We sinned against You.
8 O, You Hope of Israel, its Savior in the time of trouble! Why are You as a stranger in the land, as one who passes through, to tarry for a night?
9 Why are You as a man astonished, and as a strong man who cannot help? Yet You, O LORD, are in the midst of us. And Your Name has called upon us. Do not forsake us.
17 “Therefore, you shall say this Word to them, ‘Let my eyes drop down tears night and day without ceasing. For the virgin daughter of my people is destroyed with a great destruction, with a very grievous plague.
18 ‘For if I go into the field, behold the slain with the sword. And if I enter into the city, also behold those who are sick from hunger. Moreover, the Prophet and the priest go wandering into a land that they do not know.’”
19 Have You utterly rejected Judah? Or has Your Soul abhorred Zion? Why have You stricken us, so that we cannot be healed? We looked for peace and there is no good, and for the time of health and behold trouble.
20 We acknowledge, O LORD, our wickedness and the iniquity of our fathers. For we have sinned against You.
21 Do not abhor. For Your Name’s sake, do not cast down the throne of Your Glory. Remember. Do not break Your Covenant with us.
22 Are there any among the vanities of the Gentiles that can give rain? Or can the heavens give showers? Is it not You, O LORD our God? Therefore, we will wait upon You. For You have made all these things.
21 Tell me, you who would be under the Law, do you not hear the Law?
22 For it is written that Abraham had two sons: one by a servant and one by a free woman.
23 But he who was by the servant was born after the flesh. And he who was by the free woman was born by promise.
24 These things are allegorical. For these mothers are the two Testaments. The one called Hagar begat those of mount Sinai, who are enslaved.
25 For Hagar (or Sinai) is a mountain in Arabia, and it is now presently Jerusalem. And she is enslaved with her children.
26 But the Jerusalem above is free and is the mother of us all.
27 For it is written, “Rejoice, you barren who bear no children! Break forth, and cry, you who do not travail! For the desolate has many more children than she who has a husband.”
28 Therefore, brothers, we are like Isaac: children of the promise.
29 But just as at that time the one who was born after the flesh persecuted the one who was born after the Spirit, so also it is now.
30 But what says the Scripture? ‘Put out the servant and her son. For the son of the servant shall not be heir with the son of the free woman.’
31 Then, brothers, we are not children of the servant, but of the free woman.
5 Stand fast, therefore, in the liberty whereby Christ has made us free. And be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
11 And the Pharisees came forth and began to dispute with Him, seeking a sign of Heaven from Him, and tempting Him.
12 Then He sighed deeply in His Spirit, and said, “Why does this generation seek a sign? Truly I say to you, a sign shall not be given to this generation.”
13 So He left them and went into the ship again and departed to the other side.
14 And they had forgotten to take bread with them and had only one loaf in the ship with them.
15 And He charged them, saying, “Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod.”
16 And they reasoned among themselves, saying, “It is because we have no bread.”
17 And when Jesus knew it, He said to them, “Why do you reason ‘because we have no bread’? Do you not yet perceive nor understand? Are your hearts still hardened?
18 “Do you have eyes and not see? And do you have ears and not hear? And do you not remember?
19 “When I broke the five loaves among five thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?” They said to Him, “Twelve.”
20 “And when I broke seven among four thousand, how many baskets full of leftovers did you take up?” And they said, “Seven.”
21 Then He said to them, “How is it that you do not understand?”
