Version
Psalm 148-150

¶ Halelu-JAH. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens; praise him in the heights.

Praise ye him, all his angels; praise ye him, all his hosts.

Praise ye him, sun and moon; praise him, all ye stars of light.

Praise him, ye heavens of heavens and ye waters that are above the heavens.

Let them praise the name of the LORD; for he commanded, and they were created.

He has established them for ever and ever: he has made a law which shall not be broken.

¶ Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons and all deeps,

fire and hail; snow and vapour; stormy wind fulfilling his word,

mountains and all hills; fruitful trees and all cedars,

10 beasts and all animals; creeping things and flying fowl,

11 kings of the earth and all the peoples, princes and all judges of the earth,

12 both young men and maidens, the old with the children,

13 Let them praise the name of the LORD; for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above earth and heavens.

He

14 has exalted the horn of his people; let all his merciful ones praise him; even of the sons of Israel, the people near unto him. Halelu-JAH.

¶ Halelu-JAH. Sing unto the LORD a new song, let his praise be in the congregation of the merciful.

Let Israel rejoice with his Maker; let the sons of Zion be joyful with their King.

Let them praise his name in the dance; let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.

For the LORD takes pleasure in his people; he will beautify the humble with saving health.

The merciful shall be joyful with glory; they shall sing aloud upon their beds.

¶ The high praises of God shall be in their mouth and a two-edged sword in their hand,

to execute vengeance upon the Gentiles and punishments upon the peoples,

to imprison their kings with fetters and their nobles with chains of iron,

to execute upon them the judgment written: this shall be glory for all his merciful ones. Halelu-JAH.

¶ Halelu-JAH. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in the firmament of his power.

Praise him for his mighty acts; praise him according to his excellent greatness.

Praise him with the sound of the shofar; praise him with the psaltery and harp.

Praise him with the timbrel and dance; praise him with stringed instruments and organs.

Praise him upon the loud cymbals; praise him upon the cymbals of joy.

Let every thing that has breath praise JAH. Halelu-JAH.

Psalm 114-115

¶ When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language,

Judah was his holiness, and Israel his dominion.

The sea saw it and fled; Jordan was driven back.

The mountains skipped like rams and the little hills like lambs.

What came upon thee, O thou sea, that thou didst flee? And thou O Jordan, that thou wast driven back?

Ye mountains, why didst ye skip like rams and ye little hills, like lambs?

At the presence of the Lord, the earth trembles, at the presence of the God of Jacob,

who turned the rock into a reservoir of water, the flint into a fountain of waters.

¶ Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy and for thy truth.

Why should the Gentiles say, Where is now their God?

But our God is in the heavens; he has made whatever he has desired.

Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.

They have mouths, but they shall never speak; they have eyes, but they shall never see:

They have ears, but they shall never hear; they have noses, but they shall never smell;

they have hands, but they shall never touch; they have feet, but they shall never walk; they shall never speak through their throat.

Let those that make them become like unto them, and every one that trusts in them.

¶ O Israel, trust thou in the LORD; he is your help and your shield.

10 O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD; he is your help and your shield.

11 Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD; he is your help and your shield.

12 The LORD has been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will greatly bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.

13 He will bless those that fear the LORD, both small and great.

14 The LORD shall increase his blessing upon you more and more, upon you and your sons.

15 Ye are blessed of the LORD who made the heavens and earth.

16 The heavens are the heavens of the LORD, but the earth he has given to the sons of Adam.

17 The dead shall not praise JAH, neither any that go down into silence.

18 But we will bless JAH from this time forth and for evermore. Halelu-JAH.

Genesis 7:1-10

¶ And the LORD said unto Noah, Enter thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.

Of every clean animal thou shalt take to thee seven pairs, the male and his female; but of animals that are not clean, two, the male and his female.

Of fowls also of the heavens by seven pairs, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth.

For yet in seven days, I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every substance that I have made I will destroy from off the face of the earth.

¶ And Noah did according unto all that the LORD commanded him.

And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.

And Noah went in and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives with him into the ark because of the waters of the flood.

Of clean animals and of animals that are not clean and of fowls and of every thing that moves upon the earth,

there went in two by two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.

10 And it came to pass after seven days that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.

Genesis 7:17-23

17 ¶ And the flood was forty days upon the earth, and the waters multiplied and bore up the ark, and it was lifted up above the earth.

18 And the waters prevailed and multiplied greatly upon the earth, and the ark went upon the face of the waters.

19 And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth, and all the high mountains that were under all the heavens were covered.

20 Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail, and the mountains were covered.

21 ¶ And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl and of beasts and of animals and of every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth and every man;

22 all in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life of all that was in the dry land died.

23 And every substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man and cattle and the animals and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth, and only Noah remained alive and those that were with him in the ark.

Ephesians 4:1-16

¶ I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation with which ye are called,

¶ with all humility and meekness, with tolerance, forbearing one another in love,

being diligent to guard the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

There is one body and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling,

one Lord, one faith, one baptism,

one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all, and in you all.

But unto each one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of the Christ.

Therefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive and gave gifts unto men.

(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?

10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all the heavens, that he might fulfill all things.)

11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers,

12 for the perfecting of the saints in the work of the ministry, unto the edifying of the body of the Christ

13 until we all come forth in the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the coming of age of the Christ:

14 That we no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men and cunning craftiness, by which they lie in wait to deceive,

15 but following the truth in charity, let us grow up into him in all things, who is the head, the Christ:

16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and well tied together among itself by the nourishment that every connecting bond supplies, by the operation of each member according to measure they have received, making increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in charity.

Mark 3:7-19

But Jesus withdrew himself with his disciples to the sea, and a great multitude from Galilee followed him, and from Judaea

and from Jerusalem and from Idumaea and from beyond Jordan. And those who dwell around Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, hearing what great things he did, came unto him.

And he spoke to his disciples that a small ship should wait on him because of the multitude, lest they should throng him.

10 For he had healed many, insomuch that as many as had plagues pressed upon him to touch him.

11 And the unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him and cried out, saying, Thou art the Son of God.

12 And he straitly charged them that they should not make him known.

13 ¶ And he went up to the mountain and called unto himself whom he would, and they came unto him.

14 And he established twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach

15 and to have power to heal sicknesses and to cast out devils:

16 Simon, whom he gave the name Peter;

17 and James the son of Zebedee and John the brother of James, whom he surnamed them Boanerges, which is The sons of thunder;

18 and Andrew and Philip and Bartholomew and Matthew and Thomas and James the son of Alphaeus and Thaddaeus and Simon the Canaanite

19 and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him; and they came home.
