Psalm 103

Bless Yahweh, O My Soul

Of David.

103 (A)Bless Yahweh, O my soul,
And all that is within me, bless His (B)holy name.
Bless Yahweh, O my soul,
And (C)forget none of His benefits;
Who (D)pardons all your iniquities,
Who (E)heals all your diseases;
Who (F)redeems your life from the pit,
Who (G)crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion;
Who (H)satisfies your [a]years with good things,
So that your youth is (I)renewed like the eagle.

Yahweh (J)performs righteous deeds
And judgments for all who are (K)oppressed.
He (L)made known His ways to Moses,
His (M)acts to the sons of Israel.
Yahweh is (N)compassionate and gracious,
(O)Slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness.
He (P)will not always contend with us,
And He will not (Q)keep His anger forever.
10 He has (R)not dealt with us according to our sins,
And He has not rewarded us according to our iniquities.
11 For as high (S)as the heavens are above the earth,
So great is His lovingkindness toward those who [b]fear Him.
12 As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He (T)removed our transgressions from us.
13 (U)As a father has compassion on his children,
So Yahweh has compassion on those who [c]fear Him.
14 For (V)He Himself knows [d]our form;
He (W)remembers that we are but (X)dust.

15 As for man, his days are (Y)like grass;
As a (Z)flower of the field, so he flowers.
16 When the (AA)wind has passed over it, it is no more,
And its (AB)place acknowledges it no longer.
17 But the (AC)lovingkindness of Yahweh is from everlasting to everlasting on those who [e]fear Him,
And His [f]righteousness (AD)to children’s children,
18 To (AE)those who keep His covenant
And remember His precepts to do them.

19 Yahweh has established His (AF)throne in the heavens,
And His (AG)kingdom rules over [g]all.
20 Bless Yahweh, you (AH)His angels,
(AI)Mighty in strength, who (AJ)perform His word,
(AK)Obeying the voice of His word!
21 Bless Yahweh, all you (AL)His hosts,
You (AM)who serve Him, doing His will.
22 Bless Yahweh, (AN)all you works of His,
In all places of His rule;
Bless Yahweh, O my soul!

Psalm 114

When Israel Went Out from Egypt

114 When Israel went out (A)from Egypt,
The house of Jacob from a people of (B)strange language,
Judah became (C)His sanctuary,
Israel, (D)His dominion.

The (E)sea looked and fled;
The (F)Jordan turned back.
The mountains (G)skipped like rams,
The hills, like lambs.
What (H)disturbs you, O sea, that you flee?
O Jordan, that you turn back?
O mountains, that you skip like rams?
O hills, like lambs?

(I)Tremble, O earth, before the Lord,
Before the God of Jacob,
Who (J)turned the rock into a (K)pool of water,
The (L)flint into a spring of water.

Exodus 12:28-39

28 Then the sons of Israel went and did so; just as Yahweh had commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did.

Death of the Firstborn of Egypt

29 Now it happened at (A)midnight that (B)Yahweh struck all (C)the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive who was in the [a]dungeon, and all the firstborn of (D)cattle. 30 Then Pharaoh arose in the night, he and all his servants and all the Egyptians, and there was (E)a great cry in Egypt, for there was no home where there was not someone dead. 31 Then (F)he called for Moses and Aaron at night and said, “Rise up, (G)get out from among my people, both you and the sons of Israel; and go, [b]serve Yahweh, as you have spoken. 32 Take (H)both your flocks and your herds, as you have spoken, and go, and bless me also.”

Israel Goes Out from Egypt

33 (I)And the Egyptians strongly pressed the people to send them out of the land in haste, for they said, “We will all be dead.” 34 So the people took up (J)their dough before it was leavened, with their kneading bowls bound up in the clothes on their shoulders.

35 (K)Now the sons of Israel had done according to the word of Moses—they had asked from the Egyptians for articles of silver and articles of gold, and clothing; 36 and Yahweh had given the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they let them have what they asked. Thus they (L)plundered the Egyptians.

37 And the (M)sons of Israel journeyed from (N)Rameses to Succoth, about (O)six hundred thousand men on foot, aside from the little ones. 38 A [c](P)foreign multitude also went up with them, [d]along with flocks and herds, a (Q)very [e]large number of livestock. 39 And they baked the dough which they had brought out of Egypt into cakes of unleavened bread. For it had not become leavened, since they were (R)driven out of Egypt and could not delay, nor had they [f]prepared any provisions for themselves.

1 Corinthians 15:12-28

The Resurrection of the Dead

12 Now if Christ is preached, that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there (A)is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, not even Christ has been raised. 14 And (B)if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is vain, your faith also is vain. 15 Moreover we are even found to be false witnesses of God, because we bore witness [a]against God that He (C)raised [b]Christ, whom He did not raise, if in fact the dead are not raised. 16 For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised. 17 And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; (D)you are still in your sins. 18 Then those also who (E)have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. 19 If we have hoped in Christ in this life only, we are (F)of all men most to be pitied.

20 But now Christ (G)has been raised from the dead, the (H)first fruits of those who have (I)fallen asleep. 21 For since (J)by a man came death, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead. 22 For (K)as in Adam all die, so also in [c]Christ all will be made alive. 23 But each in his own order: Christ (L)the first fruits, after that (M)those who are Christ’s at (N)His coming. 24 Then comes the end, when He hands over (O)the kingdom to the (P)God and Father, when He has abolished (Q)all rule and all authority and power. 25 For He must reign (R)until He has put all His enemies under His feet. 26 The last enemy to be (S)abolished is death. 27 For (T)He has put all things in subjection under His feet. But when He says, “(U)All things are put in subjection,” it is evident that He is excepted who put all things in subjection to Him. 28 And when (V)all things are subjected to Him, then the Son Himself also will be subjected to the One who subjected all things to Him, so that (W)God may be all in all.

Mark 16:9-20

[a][Now after He had risen early on the first day of the week, He first appeared to (A)Mary Magdalene, from whom He had cast out seven demons. 10 (B)She went and reported to those who had been with Him, while they were mourning and crying. 11 And when they heard that He was alive and had been seen by her, (C)they refused to believe it.

12 After that, (D)He appeared in a different form (E)to two of them while they were walking along on their way to the countryside. 13 And they went away and reported it to the others, but they (F)did not believe them either.

The Great Commission

14 Afterward (G)He appeared (H)to the eleven themselves as they were reclining at the table; and He reproached them for their (I)unbelief and hardness of heart, because they had not believed those who had seen Him after He had risen. 15 And He said to them, (J)Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. 16 (K)He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned. 17 And these [b]signs will accompany those who have believed: (L)in My name they will cast out demons, they will (M)speak with new tongues; 18 and they will (N)pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will (O)lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

19 So then, the Lord Jesus, after He had (P)spoken to them, (Q)was taken up into heaven and (R)sat down at the right hand of God. 20 And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them, and confirmed the word by the [c]signs that followed.]

[d][And they promptly reported all these instructions to Peter and his companions. And after that, Jesus Himself sent out through them from east to west the sacred and imperishable preaching of eternal salvation.]
