You Are a Priest Forever

Of David. A Psalm.

^69 (A)But from now on ^(B)the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the power of ^[a]God.”

⁵⁵ But being ^(A)full of the Holy Spirit, he ^(B)gazed intently into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing ^(C)at the right hand of God; ⁵⁶ and he said, “Behold, I see the ^(D)heavens opened up and ^(E)the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.” ⁵⁷ But crying out with a loud voice, they covered their ears and rushed at him with one accord. ⁵⁸ And when they had ^(F)driven him out of the city, they began stoning him; and ^(G)the witnesses ^(H)laid aside their garments at the feet of ^(I)a young man named Saul. ⁵⁹ They went on stoning Stephen as he ^(J)was calling out and saying, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit!” ⁶⁰ Then ^(K)falling on his knees, he cried out with a loud voice, “Lord, ^(L)do not hold this sin against them!” And having said this, he ^[a](M)fell asleep.

³⁴ who is the one who ^(A)condemns? Christ Jesus is He who ^(B)died, yes, rather who was ^[a](C)raised, who is ^(D)at the right hand of God, who also ^(E)intercedes for us.

²⁰ which He worked in Christ, by ^(A)raising Him from the dead and ^(B)seating Him at His right hand in ^(C)the heavenly places,

3 Therefore, if you have been ^(A)raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, ^(B)seated at the right hand of God.

³ who is the radiance of His glory and the exact ^(A)representation of His nature, and ^[a](B)upholds all things by the word of His power; who, having accomplished ^(C)cleansing for sins, ^(D)sat down at the right hand of the ^(E)Majesty on high,

8 Now the main point in what is being said is this: we have such a ^(A)high priest, who sat down at ^(B)the right hand of the throne of the ^(C)Majesty in the heavens,

¹² but He, having offered one sacrifice ^(A)for ^[a]sins ^(B)for all time, ^(C)sat down at the right hand of God,
