2 Who is this that [b]darkeneth the counsel by words without knowledge?
3 Gird up now thy loins like a man: I [c]will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.
4 Where wast thou when I [d]laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest, or who hath stretched the line over it:
6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof set: or who laid the cornerstone thereof:
7 When the stars of the morning [e]praised me together, and all the [f]children of God rejoiced:
8 Or who hath shut up the Sea with doors, when it issued and came forth as out of the womb:
9 When I made the clouds as a covering thereof, and darkness as the [g]swaddling bands thereof:
10 When I establisheth my commandment upon it, and set bars and doors,
11 And said, hitherto shalt thou come, but no further, and here shall it [h]stay thy proud waves.
42 6 The repentance of Job. 9 He prayeth for his friends. 12 His goods are restored double unto him. 13 His children, age and death.
1 Then Job answered the Lord, and said,
2 I know that thou canst do all things, and that there is no [a]thought hid from thee.
3 Who is he that hideth counsel without [b]knowledge? therefore have I spoken that I understood not, even things too wonderful for me, [c]and which I knew not.
4 Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak: I will demand of thee, [d]and declare thou unto me.
5 I have [e]heard of thee by the hearing of the ear, but now mine eye seeth thee.
4 And the four and twenty Elders, and the four beasts fell down, and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen, Hallelujah.

6 And I heard [c]like a voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of strong thunderings, saying, Hallelujah: for the Lord that God that Almighty one hath reigned.
7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give glory to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made [d]herself ready.

9 [h]Then he said unto me, Write, (A)Blessed are they which are called unto the Lamb’s supper. And he said unto me, These words of God are true.
10 [i]And I fell before his feet, (B)to worship him, but he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellow servant, and one of thy brethren, which have the [j]testimony of Jesus, Worship God: for the testimony of [k]Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy.

13 And he was clothed with a garment dipped in blood, and his name is called, THE WORD OF GOD.
14 [n]And the hosts which were in heaven, followed him upon white horses, clothed with fine linen white and pure.
15 [o]And out of his mouth went out a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the heathen: for he shall (C)rule them with a rod of iron, for he it is that treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 [p]And he hath upon his garment, and upon his thigh, a name written, (D)THE KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
29 ¶ [a]The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold [b]that Lamb of God, which [c]taketh away the [d]sin of the world.

31 And [e]I knew him not: but because he should be declared to Israel, therefore am I come, baptizing with water.
32 [f]So John bare record, saying, I beheld, (A)that Spirit come down from heaven, like a dove, and it abode upon him,
33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, he said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see that Spirit come down, and tarry still on him, that is he which baptizeth with the holy Ghost.
34 And I saw, and bare record that this is [g]that Son of God.
