from Ekron even unto the sea, all that lay near Ashdod, with their villages;

The fifth region was located along the Mediterranean seacoast, and it had the following towns with their surrounding settlements and villages: Ekron and the towns between there and the coast, Ashdod and the larger towns nearby, Gaza, the towns from Gaza to the Egyptian Gorge, and the towns along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea.
From Ekron and westward all that are by the side of Ashdod, and their hamlets.
From Accaron even to the sea: all places that lie towards Azotus and the villages thereof.
They also got the area west of Ekron and all the fields and towns near Ashdod.
And he gave them all those towns west of Ekron, near to Ashdod with their villages.
West of Ekron, all the towns that are near Ashdod and their villages.
from Ekron to the sea, all that were by the side of Ashdod, with their villages.

From Ekron, even unto the Sea, all that lieth about Ashdod with their villages.
This included all the cities with their villages between Ekron and the Mediterranean Sea and alongside Ashdod.

They also got the area west of Ekron and all the fields and towns near Ashdod.

From Ekron the boundary extended to the Mediterranean and included the cities along the borders of Ashdod with their nearby villages;
In the Shephelah (the western foothills) there were: Eshtaol, Zorah, Ashnah, Zanoah, En Gannim, Tappuah, Enam, Jarmuth, Adullam, Socoh, Azekah, Shaaraim, Adithaim, and Gederah (or Gederothaim)— fourteen towns and their villages. Zenan, Hadashah, Migdal Gad, Dilean, Mizpah, Joktheel, Lachish, Bozkath, Eglon, Cabbon, Lahmas, Kitlish, Gederoth, Beth Dagon, Naamah, and Makkedah— sixteen towns and their villages. Libnah, Ether, Ashan, Iphtah, Ashnah, Nezib, Keilah, Aczib, and Mareshah— nine towns and their villages. Ekron with its towns and villages; From Ekron, west to the sea, all that bordered Ashdod with its villages; Ashdod with its towns and villages; Gaza with its towns and villages all the way to the Brook of Egypt. The Great Sea is the western border.

This included all the cities with their villages between Ekron and the Mediterranean Sea and alongside Ashdod.

and the territory between Ekron and the sea, near Ashdod, with all of their dependent towns.
