For lo, they lie in wait for my soul; the mighty are gathered against me, not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O Lord.

Look! They lie in wait for my life; Fierce and powerful men [are uniting together to] launch an attack against me, Not for my wrongdoing nor for any sin of mine, O Lord.
For, behold, they lie in wait for my life; fierce and mighty men are banding together against me, not for my transgression nor for any sin of mine, O Lord.
For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul: the mighty are gathered against me; not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O Lord.
Because look, Lord, they set an ambush for me. Powerful men attack me, but not because of any sin or rebellion of mine.
Look at how they lie in ambush for my life! Powerful people are attacking me, Lord— but not because of any error or sin of mine.
Rescue me from evildoers, save me from bloodthirsty men.
Merciless enemies, Lord, are hiding and plotting, hoping to kill me. I have not hurt them in any way at all.
For behold, they lie in wait for my soul; strong ones are gathered against me: not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O Jehovah.
O God, thou hast cast us off, and hast destroyed us; thou hast been angry, and hast had mercy on us.
Look, powerful men are waiting for me. Lord, they are waiting to kill me, even though I did not sin or commit a crime.
Look at them! They are waiting to kill me! Cruel men are ready to attack me. Lord, I have not done anything against them, but they still want to kill me.
Yes, look how they lie in ambush to take my life! Strong men gather against me, but it is not because I have rebelled, not because I have sinned, O Lord.
For behold, they lie in wait for my life; fierce men stir up strife against me. For no transgression or sin of mine, O Lord,

They lie in ambush for me right here! Fierce men attack me, O Lord, but not because of any disobedience,
Look! They are waiting to kill me; cruel people are gathering against me. It is not because of any sin or wrong I have done,

They lurk in ambush for my life. Strong men are out there waiting. And not, O Lord, because I’ve done them wrong.
Desperadoes have ganged up on me, they’re hiding in ambush for me. I did nothing to deserve this, God, crossed no one, wronged no one. All the same, they’re after me, determined to get me. Wake up and see for yourself! You’re God, God-of-Angel-Armies, Israel’s God! Get on the job and take care of these pagans, don’t be soft on these hard cases.
For they lie in wait for my life; the mighty are gathered against me, not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O Lord.
They lie in ambush for me right here! Fierce men attack me, O Yahweh, but not because of any disobedience,
Deliver me from evildoers; from the bloodthirsty save me.
