Psalm 55:10
Day and night they go about it upon the walls thereof; mischief also and sorrow are in the midst of it.

Confuse, Adonai, confound their speech! For I see violence and fighting in the city.

Then shall my enemies be turned back. In what day soever I shall call upon thee, behold I know thou art my God.
Day and night, in every neighborhood, the city is filled with evil and trouble.
They walk on the city's walls in the day and at night. Inside the city they do evil things that bring trouble everywhere.
Day and night they sneak around on its walls. Evil and trouble are in the city.

Though they patrol their walls night and day against invaders, their real problem is internal—wickedness and dishonesty are entrenched in the heart of the city.
Come down hard, Lord—slit their tongues. I’m appalled how they’ve split the city Into rival gangs prowling the alleys Day and night spoiling for a fight, trash piled in the streets, Even shopkeepers gouging and cheating in broad daylight.
Day and night they go around it on its walls; trouble and sorrow are in its midst.
Day and night they go around on top of the city walls. Trouble and misery are everywhere.
Lord, check and confuse their tongues. For I see violence and strife in the city

Restrain the wicked, O Lord, and confound their speech, for I see violence and strife in the city.

They plot day and night, scurrying the city walls like rats, trouble and evil lurking everywhere.
Day and night they prowl around on its walls. Malice and abuse are also within her.
By day and night wickedness shall (en)compass it on the walls thereof; and travail and unrightfulness be in the midst of them. (Day and night they surround the city, all along its walls; and trouble and unrighteousness be in its midst.)
