Grant not, O Lord, the desires of the wicked; further not his wicked device, lest they exalt themselves. Selah

“Do not grant, O Lord, the desires of the wicked; Do not further their evil device, that they not be exalted. Selah.
Grant not, O Lord, the desires of the wicked; further not their wicked plot and device, lest they exalt themselves. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!
Grant not, O Lord, the desires of the wicked: further not his wicked device; lest they exalt themselves. Selah.
Lord, do not grant the desires of the wicked; do not let them achieve their goals. Otherwise, they will become proud.Selah
Lord, don’t give the wicked what they want! Don’t allow their plans to succeed, or they’ll exalt themselves even more! Selah
Adonai, Adonai, my saving strength, my helmet shielding my head in battle,
Don't let the wicked succeed in doing what they want, or else they might never stop planning evil.
Grant not, O Jehovah, the desire of the wicked; further not his device: they would exalt themselves. Selah.
But o to thee, O Lord, Lord, are my eyes: in thee have I put my trust, take not away my soul.
Lord, don’t let the wicked have what they want. Don’t let their plans succeed. Selah

I prayed, “God, you’re my God! Listen, God! Mercy! God, my Lord, Strong Savior, protect me when the fighting breaks out! Don’t let the wicked have their way, God, don’t give them an inch!”

Lord, betake thou not me from my desire to the sinner; they thought against me, forsake thou not me, lest peradventure they be enhanced. (Lord, do not thou deliver me unto the desires of the sinners; they have planned to harm me, so abandon thou me not, lest they gain an advantage over me.)
