to deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from men that speaketh froward things,
To deliver thee from the way of evil, From the men that speak perverse things;
To keep you from the way of evil and the evil man, From the man who speaks perverse things;
To deliver you from the way of evil and the evil men, from men who speak perverse things and are liars,
To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things;
It will rescue you from the way of evil— from anyone who says perverse things,
Wisdom will rescue you from the evil path, from people who twist their words.
They will save you from the way of evil and from those who speak deceitfully,
Wisdom will protect you from evil schemes and from those liars
To deliver thee from the way of evil, from the man that speaketh froward things;
That thou mayst be delivered from the evil way, and from the man that speaketh perverse things:
These will keep you from following the wrong path and will protect you from those who have evil plans.
You will not join with wicked people. You will keep away from those who speak false things.
It will save you from the evil way, from the man who speaks perverse things,
delivering you from the way of evil, from men of perverted speech,
delivering you from the way of evil, from men of perverted speech,
It will keep you from the ·wicked [L evil path], from those whose words are ·bad [perverted; twisted],
And deliver thee from the evil way, and from the man that speaketh froward things,
⌞Wisdom will⌟ save you from the way of evil, from the person who speaks devious things,
and prevent you from doing the wrong thing. They will keep you away from people who stir up trouble by what they say—
rescuing you from the way of evil— from the one who says perverse things,
It will keep you from doing evil. It will save you from people whose words are bad.

to deliver thee from the evil way, from the man that speaks perversion,
To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things;
to deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things;
To deliver you from the way of evil, From the man who speaks perverse things;
in order to deliver you from the way of evil, from a man who speaks devious things—
You will be given the sense to stay away from evil men who want you to be their partners in crime—men who turn from God’s ways to walk down dark and evil paths
So now you can pick out what’s true and fair, find all the good trails! Lady Wisdom will be your close friend, and Brother Knowledge your pleasant companion. Good Sense will scout ahead for danger, Insight will keep an eye out for you. They’ll keep you from making wrong turns, or following the bad directions Of those who are lost themselves and can’t tell a trail from a tumbleweed, These losers who make a game of evil and throw parties to celebrate perversity, Traveling paths that go nowhere, wandering in a maze of detours and dead ends.

Thus, you will be preserved from the ways of evil and from those whose speech is perverse,
It will keep you from the wicked, from those whose words are bad,
to deliver you from the way of the wicked, from those speaking perversity,
Wisdom will save you from the ways of evil men. It will save you from men who twist their words.

Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men, from men whose words are perverse,
To deliver you from the way of evil, From the man who speaks perverse things,
You will be kept from the sinful man, and from the man who causes much trouble by what he says.
Wisdom will save you from evil people, from those whose words are twisted.
It will save you from the way of evil, from those who speak perversely,
It will save you from the way of evil, from those who speak perversely,
It will save you from the way of evil, from those who speak perversely,
It will save you from the way of evil, from those who speak perversely,
To save thee from the derech rah, from the ish medaber tahpukhot (man speaking perverse things);
delivering you from the way of evil, from men of perverted speech,
delivering you from the way of evil, from men of perverted speech,
to deliver you from the way of evil, from those speaking perverse things,
Wisdom will keep you from following the way of evildoers, of those who twist words to pervert the truth,
to deliver you from the way of evil, from the men who speak perverse things,
(so) that thou be delivered from an evil way, and from a man that speaketh wayward things (and from the person who speaketh wicked things).
