Judges 3:2

(only so that the generations of the children of Israel might know to teach them war, at least such as before knew nothing thereof),
only that the generations of the children of Israel might know, to teach them war, at the least such as beforetime knew nothing thereof:
only in order that the generations of the sons of Israel might be taught war, at least those who had not experienced it previously).
It was only that the generations of the Israelites might know and be taught war, at least those who previously knew nothing of it.
Only that the generations of the children of Israel might know, to teach them war, at the least such as before knew nothing thereof;
This was to teach the future generations of the Israelites how to fight in battle, especially those who had not fought before.
They survived only to teach war to the generations of Israelites who had no firsthand knowledge of the earlier wars:
This was only so that the generations of Isra’el who had previously known nothing of war might learn about it.
And the Lord had another reason for letting these enemies stay. The Israelites needed to learn how to fight in war, just as their ancestors had done. Each new generation would have to learn by fighting
only that the generations of the children of Israel might know war by learning it, at the least those who before had known nothing thereof:
That afterwards their children might learn to fight with their enemies, and to be trained up to war:
The Lord did not force all the other nations to leave Israel’s land. He wanted to test the Israelites. None of the Israelites living at this time had fought in the wars to take the land of Canaan. So he let those other nations stay in their country. (He did this to teach the Israelites who had not fought in those wars.) These are the nations the Lord left in the land:
He wanted to teach the young men of Israel how to fight their enemies, because they had not fought battles before.
(This was done so that the generations of Israelites who did not know war would learn how to wage war.)
It was only in order that the generations of the people of Israel might know war, to teach war to those who had not known it before.
It was only in order that the generations of the people of Israel might know war, to teach war to those who had not known it before.
(The only reason the Lord left those nations in the land was to teach the descendants of the Israelites who had not fought in those wars how to fight.)
Only to make the generations of the children of Israel to know, and to teach them war, which doubtless their predecessors knew not.)
The Lord left them to teach Israel’s descendants about war, at least those who had known nothing about it in the past.
He did this only in order to teach each generation of Israelites about war, especially those who had never been in battle before.
This was to teach the future generations of the Israelites how to fight in battle, especially those who had not fought before.
The only reason the Lord left those nations in the land was to teach the descendants of the Israelites. He wanted to teach the people who had not fought in those wars how to fight.
only so that successive Israeli generations, who had not known war previously, might come to know it by experience.
he left them only that the generations of the sons of Israel might know, and to teach them war, only for those that had known nothing before:
Only that the generations of the children of Israel might know, to teach them war, at the least such as before knew nothing thereof;
only that the generations of the children of Israel might know, to teach them war, at the least such as before knew nothing thereof;
however, God tested them in order that the generations of the sons of Israel would know war, by learning war, especially those who had not known it formerly).
in order that the generations of Israel would know war, to teach those who had not experienced it before):
Here is a list of the nations the Lord left in the land to test the new generation of Israel who had not experienced the wars of Canaan. For God wanted to give opportunity to the youth of Israel to exercise faith and obedience in conquering their enemies: the Philistines (five cities), the Canaanites, the Sidonians, the Hivites living in Mount Lebanon, from Baal-hermon to the entrance of Hamath.
These are the nations that God left there, using them to test the Israelites who had no experience in the Canaanite wars. He did it to train the descendants of Israel, the ones who had no battle experience, in the art of war. He left the five Philistine tyrants, all the Canaanites, the Sidonians, and the Hivites living on Mount Lebanon from Mount Baal Hermon to Hamath’s Pass. They were there to test Israel and see whether they would obey God’s commands that were given to their parents through Moses.
(so that later generations of the children of Israel who did not know war before might know it, to teach them how to fight):
The Lord left them to teach Israel’s descendants about war, at least those who had known nothing about it in the past.
to teach warfare to those generations of Israelites who had never experienced it:
only in order that the generations of the sons of Israel might be taught war, those who had not experienced it previously).
only in order that the generations of the sons of Israel might be taught war, those who had not experienced it formerly).
This was so that the descendants of the Israelites might learn about war, for up to that time they had not yet experienced it.
(The only reason the Lord left those nations in the land was to teach the descendants of the Israelites who had not fought in those wars how to fight.)
He left those nations simply because he wanted to teach the subsequent generations of Israelites, who had not experienced the earlier battles, how to conduct holy war.
He wanted to teach the men in Israel who had never been in battle before. He wanted them to learn how to fight.
(he did this only to teach warfare to the descendants of the Israelites who had not had previous battle experience):
(he did this only to teach warfare to the descendants of the Israelites who had not had previous battle experience):
(this was only so that the generations of the children of Israel might be taught to know war, at least those who had not formerly known it),
So the children of the people of Israel who had not fought in wars might be taught about war.
He did this to teach warfare to generations of Israelites who had no experience in battle.
(it was only that successive generations of Israelites might know war, to teach those who had no experience of it before):
(it was only that successive generations of Israelites might know war, to teach those who had no experience of it before):
(it was only that successive generations of Israelites might know war, to teach those who had no experience of it before):
(it was only for successive generations of Israelites, to teach war to those who had no experience of it):
Only so that the dorot of the Bnei Yisroel might have da’as, to teach them milchamah, such as before knew nothing thereof;
it was only that the generations of the people of Israel might know war, that he might teach war to such at least as had not known it before.
it was only that the generations of the people of Israel might know war, that he might teach war to such at least as had not known it before.
It was only in order that the generations of Bnei-Yisrael might learn from war, which they had not experienced before.
so that those who had not experienced war personally might know it:
only that the generations of the children of Israel might know, to teach them war, at least those who knew nothing of it before:
and that afterward the sons of them should learn to fight with enemies, and to have custom of battle. (and so that through them their sons would learn to fight with their enemies, and know the ways of battle.)
(only for the sake of the generations of the sons of Israel's knowing, to teach them war, only those who formerly have not known them) --
