And before they lay down, she came up unto them upon the roof,
And before they were laid down, she came up unto them upon the roof;
Now before the two men lay down [to sleep], Rahab came up to them on the roof,
Before the two men had lain down, Rahab came up to them on the roof,
¶ And before they were laid down, she came up unto them upon the roof;
Before the men fell asleep, she went up on the roof
Before the spies bedded down, Rahab went up to them on the roof.
The two men had not yet lain down when she returned to the roof
Rahab went back up to her roof. The spies were still awake, so she told them:
And before they had lain down, she went up to them upon the roof;
The men that were hidden were not yet asleep, when behold the woman went up to them, and said:
The two men were ready to sleep for the night, but Rahab went to the roof to talk to them.
Rahab went up to the roof of her house. She spoke to the men as they prepared to sleep.
But before the men lay down, Rahab came up to them on the roof.

The spies were ready to sleep for the night. So Rahab went to the roof and talked to them.
Before the scouts had lain down, she went up to them on the roof
¶ And before they went to sleep, she came up unto them upon the roof;
And before they were laid down, she came up unto them upon the roof;
And before they were laid down, she came up unto them upon the roof;
Now before they lay down, she came up to them on the roof
Before they went to sleep, she came up to them on the roof
Rahab went up to talk to the men before they retired for the night.
Before the spies were down for the night, the woman came up to them on the roof and said, “I know that God has given you the land. We’re all afraid. Everyone in the country feels hopeless. We heard how God dried up the waters of the Red Sea before you when you left Egypt, and what he did to the two Amorite kings east of the Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom you put under a holy curse and destroyed. We heard it and our hearts sank. We all had the wind knocked out of us. And all because of you, you and God, your God, God of the heavens above and God of the earth below.
