Or else, if ye do in any wise go back and cleave unto the remnant of these nations, even these that remain among you, and shall make marriages with them and go in unto them and they to you,
Else if ye do at all go back, and cleave unto the remnant of these nations, even these that remain among you, and make marriages with them, and go in unto them, and they to you;
For if you ever turn back and cling to the rest of these nations, these that are left among you, and intermarry with them, so that you associate with them and they with you,
For if you turn back and adhere to the remnant of these nations left among you and make marriages with them, you marrying their women and they yours,
Else if ye do in any wise go back, and cleave unto the remnant of these nations, even these that remain among you, and shall make marriages with them, and go in unto them, and they to you:
If you ever turn away and become loyal to the rest of these nations remaining among you, and if you intermarry or associate with them and they with you,
But if you should turn away and join the rest of these nations that remain with you, intermarry with them, and associate with each other,
Otherwise, if you retreat and cling to the remnant of these other nations remaining among you, if you make marriages with them and have children with them and they with you,
Don't ever turn your backs on him by marrying people from the nations that are left in the land. Don't even make friends with them. I tell you that if you are friendly with those nations, the Lord won't chase them away when you attack. Instead, they'll be like a trap for your feet, a whip on your back, and thorns in your eyes. And finally, none of you will be left in this good land that the Lord has given you.
For if ye in any wise go back, and cleave unto the residue of these nations, these that remain among you, and make marriages with them, and come in unto them and they unto you:
But if you will embrace the errors of these nations that dwell among you, and make marriages with them, and join friendships:
“Never stop following him. Don’t become friends with those people who did not leave when you took the land. They are not part of Israel. Don’t marry any of their people. If you become friends with those people,
You must not turn away from him to join with the other nations that still live near you. Do not marry any of them. Do not live in the way that they live.
But if you do turn away and keep close company with the remnant of these nations that remain with you, and if you intermarry with them and intermingle with them and they with you,
For if you turn back and cling to the remnant of these nations remaining among you and make marriages with them, so that you associate with them and they with you,
For if you turn back and cling to the remnant of these nations remaining among you and make marriages with them, so that you associate with them and they with you,
“[L But] If you turn away from the way of the Lord and ·become friends with [ally yourselves with; cling to] ·these people who are not part of Israel [the remnant of these nations who remain among you] and marry them,
Else, if ye go back, and cleave unto the rest of these nations: that is, of them that remain with you, and shall make marriages with them, and go unto them, and they to you,
“But if you turn away and go along with the other nations within your ⌞borders⌟, if you intermarry with them or associate with them,
If you are disloyal and join with the nations that are still left among you and intermarry with them,
For if you turn away and cling to the rest of these nations remaining among you, and if you intermarry or associate with them and they with you,
“Don’t turn away from the way of the Lord. Don’t become friends with these people who are not part of Israel. Don’t marry them. If you do become their friends,
because if you ever turn back and cling to those who remain of these nations by intermarrying with them and associating one with another,
Because if ye do in any wise go back and cleave unto the remnant of these Gentiles that remain among you and shall make marriages with them and go in unto them and they to you,
Else if ye do in any wise go back, and cleave unto the remnant of these nations, even these that remain among you, and shall make marriages with them, and go in unto them, and they to you:

“If you don’t, and if you begin to intermarry with the nations around you,
“Now, vigilantly guard your souls: Love God, your God. Because if you wander off and start taking up with these remaining nations still among you (intermarry, say, and have other dealings with them), know for certain that God, your God, will not get rid of these nations for you. They’ll be nothing but trouble to you—horsewhips on your backs and sand in your eyes—until you’re the ones who will be driven out of this good land that God, your God, has given you.
“For if you should turn and cling to the remainder of these peoples who are left with you, and you intermarry and assimilate with them, and they with you,
“But if you turn away and go along with the other nations within your borders, if you intermarry with them or associate with them,
For if you ever turn away from him and join with the remnant of these nations that survive among you, by intermarrying and intermingling with them,
For if you ever go back and cling to the rest of these nations, these which remain with you, and intermarry with them, so that you associate with them and they with you,
For if you ever go back and cling to the rest of these nations, these which remain among you, and intermarry with them, so that you associate with them and they with you,
“But if you were to turn away and you were to ally yourselves with the survivors of the nations that remain here, and you were to intermarry with them, and you were to associate with them,
“If you turn away from the way of the Lord and become friends with these people who are not part of Israel and marry them,
But if you ever turn away and make alliances with these nations that remain near you, and intermarry with them and establish friendly relations with them,
“But suppose you turn away from him. You mix with the people who are left alive in the nations that remain among you. Later, you and they get married to each other. And you do other kinds of things with them.
“But if you turn away and ally yourselves with the survivors of these nations that remain among you and if you intermarry with them and associate with them,
‘But if you turn away and ally yourselves with the survivors of these nations that remain among you and if you intermarry with them and associate with them,
Or else, if indeed you do go back, and cling to the remnant of these nations—these that remain among you—and make marriages with them, and go in to them and they to you,
For if you ever turn away and join the people of these nations left among you and marry some of their people and go among them,
“But if you turn away from him and cling to the customs of the survivors of these nations remaining among you, and if you intermarry with them,
For if you turn back, and join the survivors of these nations left here among you, and intermarry with them, so that you marry their women and they yours,

“But if you do at all go back, and hold fast to the remnant of these nations, even these who remain among you, and make marriages with them, and go in to them, and they to you;
That if ye will cleave to the errors of these folks that dwell among you, and will meddle marriages with them, and couple friendships, (But if ye cleave to the errors of these people who live among you, and will mix marriages with them, and couple friendships,)
`But -- if ye at all turn back and have cleaved to the remnant of these nations, these who are left with you, and intermarried with them, and gone in to them, and they to you,
