Then said they unto him, “What shall we do unto thee, that the sea may be calm unto us?” For the sea grew more and more tempestuous.
Then said they unto him, What shall we do unto thee, that the sea may be calm unto us? for the sea grew more and more tempestuous.
Then they said to him, “What should we do to you, so that the sea will become calm for us?”—for the sea was becoming more and more violent.
Then they said to him, What shall we do to you, that the sea may subside and be calm for us? For the sea became more and more [violently] tempestuous.
¶ Then said they unto him, What shall we do unto thee, that the sea may be calm unto us? for the sea wrought, and was tempestuous.
So they said to him, “What should we do to you so that the sea will calm down for us?” For the sea was getting worse and worse.
They said to him, “What will we do about you so that the sea will become calm around us?” (The sea was continuing to rage.)
They asked him, “What should we do to you, so that the sea will be calm for us?” — for the sea was getting rougher all the time.
The storm kept getting worse, until finally the sailors asked him, “What should we do with you to make the sea calm down?”
And they said unto him, What shall we do unto thee, that the sea may be calm unto us? for the sea grew more and more tempestuous.
And they said to him: What shall we do to thee, that the sea may be calm to us? for the sea flowed and swelled.
The wind and the waves of the sea were becoming stronger and stronger. So the men said to Jonah, “What should we do to save ourselves? What should we do to you to make the sea calm?”
The waves in the sea were becoming bigger because of the storm. So the sailors asked Jonah, ‘What should we do to you so that the sea becomes quiet?’
Then, because the storm on the sea kept getting worse, they said to him, “What should we do to you, to quiet the sea that is raging against us?”
Then they said to him, “What shall we do to you, that the sea may quiet down for us?” For the sea grew more and more tempestuous.
Then they said to him, “What shall we do to you, that the sea may quiet down for us?” For the sea grew more and more tempestuous.
Since the wind and the waves of the sea were becoming much stronger, they said to him, “What should we do to you to make the sea calm down for us?”
Then said they unto him, What shall we do unto thee, that the sea may be calm unto us? (for the sea wrought, and was troublous)
The storm was getting worse. So they asked Jonah, “What should we do with you to calm the sea?”
The storm was getting worse all the time, so the sailors asked him, “What should we do to you to stop the storm?”
So they said to him, “What should we do to you to calm this sea that’s against us?” For the sea was getting worse and worse.
The wind and the waves of the sea were becoming much stronger. So the men said to Jonah, “What should we do to you to make the sea calm down?”
Because the sea was growing more and more stormy, they asked him, “What do we have to do to you so the sea will calm down for us?”
¶ Then they said unto him, What shall we do unto thee that the sea may be calm unto us? for the sea rose higher and was wroth.
Then said they unto him, What shall we do unto thee, that the sea may be calm unto us? for the sea wrought, and was tempestuous.
Then said they unto him, What shall we do unto thee, that the sea may be calm unto us? for the sea wrought, and was tempestuous.
So they said to him, “What should we do to you that the sea may become quiet for us?”—for the sea was becoming increasingly stormy.
So they said to him, “What shall we do to you so that the sea may quiet down for us?” because the sea was growing more and more tempestuous.
“What should we do to you to stop the storm?” For it was getting worse and worse.
They said to him, “What are we going to do with you—to get rid of this storm?” By this time the sea was wild, totally out of control.
Then they said to Jonah, “What shall we do to you, so that the sea may quiet down for us?” For the sea was growing stormier.
The storm was getting worse. So they asked Jonah, “What should we do with you to calm the sea?”
They asked, “What shall we do with you, that the sea may calm down for us?” For the sea was growing more and more stormy.
So they said to him, “What should we do to you so that the sea will become calm for us?”—for the sea was becoming increasingly stormy.
So they said to him, “What should we do to you that the sea may become calm for us?”—for the sea was becoming increasingly stormy.
Then they said, “What shall we do with you to make the sea calm down for us?” For the sea was becoming increasingly more turbulent.
Since the wind and the waves of the sea were becoming much stronger, they said to him, “What should we do to you to make the sea calm down for us?”
Because the storm was growing worse and worse, they said to him, “What should we do to you so that the sea will calm down for us?”
The sea was getting rougher and rougher. So they asked him, “What should we do to you to make the sea calm down?”
The sea was getting rougher and rougher. So they asked him, “What should we do to you to make the sea calm down for us?”
The sea was getting rougher and rougher. So they asked him, ‘What should we do to you to make the sea calm down for us?’
Then they said to him, “What shall we do to you that the sea may be calm for us?”—for the sea was growing more tempestuous.
So they said to him, “What should we do to you to make the sea quiet down for us?” For the storm was getting worse.
And since the storm was getting worse all the time, they asked him, “What should we do to you to stop this storm?”
Then they said to him, ‘What shall we do to you, that the sea may quieten down for us?’ For the sea was growing more and more tempestuous.
Then they said to him, ‘What shall we do to you, that the sea may quieten down for us?’ For the sea was growing more and more tempestuous.
Then they said to him, “What shall we do to you, that the sea may quiet down for us?” For the sea was growing more and more tempestuous.
Then they said to him, “What shall we do to you, that the sea may quiet down for us?” For the sea was growing more and more tempestuous.
Then said they unto him, What shall we do unto thee, that the yam against us may be calm [see Yeshayah 53:5,8; Mt 12:39-40; 16:4]? For the yam did rage and was tempestuous.
Then they said to him, “What shall we do to you, that the sea may quiet down for us?” For the sea grew more and more tempestuous.
Then they said to him, “What shall we do to you, that the sea may quiet down for us?” For the sea grew more and more tempestuous.
So they said to him, “What should we do to you so the sea will become calm for us?”—for the storm was raging on.
(shouting over the building storm) What should we do to you to make the sea calm down for us?
Then they said to him, “What shall we do to you, that the sea may be calm to us?” For the sea grew more and more stormy.
And they said to him, What shall we do to thee, and the sea shall cease from us? for the sea went, and waxed great on them. (And they said to him, What shall we do to thee, and then the sea shall cease from threatening us? for the sea grew great against them.)
And they say unto him, `What do we do to thee that the sea may cease from us, for the sea is more and more tempestuous?'
