Job 24:17
For the morning is to them even as the shadow of death; if one know them, they are in the terrors of the shadow of death.
For the morning is to all of them as thick darkness; For they know the terrors of the thick darkness.
“For the morning is the same to him as the thick darkness [of midnight]; For he is familiar with the terrors of thick darkness.
For midnight is morning to all of them; for they are familiar with the terrors of deep darkness.
For the morning is to them even as the shadow of death: if one know them, they are in the terrors of the shadow of death.
For the morning is like darkness to them. Surely they are familiar with the terrors of darkness!
Deep darkness is morning to them because they recognize the horror of darkness.
For to all of them deep darkness is like morning, for the terrors of deep darkness are familiar to them.
They prefer night to day, since the terrors of the night are their friends.
For the morning is to them all [as] the shadow of death; for they are familiar with the terrors of the shadow of death.
If the morning suddenly appear, it is to them the shadow of death: and they walk in darkness as if it were in light.
The darkest night is their morning. They are friends with the terrors of darkness.
They all like to do evil things at night, rather than in the light of morning. They are not afraid of things that happen in the dark, as other people are.
For all of them, morning is their darkness. They are familiar with the sudden terror of darkness.
For deep darkness is morning to all of them; for they are friends with the terrors of deep darkness.
For deep darkness is morning to all of them; for they are friends with the terrors of deep darkness.
Darkness is like morning to all these evil people who ·make friends with [L recognize] the terrors of darkness.
But the morning is even to them as the shadow of death: if one know them, they are in the terrors of the shadow of death.
because morning and deep darkness are the same to them, because they are familiar with the terrors of deep darkness.
They fear the light of day, but darkness holds no terror for them.
For the morning is like darkness to them. Surely they are familiar with the terrors of darkness!
Darkness is like morning to all these evil people. They make friends with the terrors of darkness.
As a group, deep darkness is their morning time; fear that lives in darkness is their friend.”

“Then there are those who avoid light at all costs, who scorn the light-filled path. When the sun goes down, the murderer gets up— kills the poor and robs the defenseless. Sexual predators can’t wait for nightfall, thinking, ‘No one can see us now.’ Burglars do their work at night, but keep well out of sight through the day. They want nothing to do with light. Deep darkness is morning for that bunch; they make the terrors of darkness their companions in crime.

Darkness is like morning to all these evil people who make friends with the terrors of darkness.
For all of them, the morning is to them like deep darkness; they are friends with the terrors of darkness.
Midnight is like morning to them. The terrors of darkness are their friends.
For all of them, midnight is their morning; they make friends with the terrors of darkness.

For all of these criminals, the morning arrives arm in arm with the threat of being found out. It is as the shadow of death to them, for they are at ease with the terrors of the night.

If the morrowtide appeareth suddenly, they deem it the shadow of death; and so they go in (the) darknesses, as in (the) light.
When together, morning [is] to them death shade, When he discerneth the terrors of death shade.
