He divideth the sea with His power, and by His understanding He smiteth through the proud.
He stirreth up the sea with his power, And by his understanding he smiteth through Rahab.
“He stirred up the sea by His power, And by His understanding He smashed [proud] Rahab.
He stills or stirs up the sea by His power, and by His understanding He smites proud Rahab.
He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud.
By his power he stirred the sea, and by his understanding he crushed Rahab.
By his power he stilled the Sea; split Rahab with his cleverness.
He stirs up the sea with his power, and by his skill he strikes down Rahav.
By his power and wisdom, God conquered the force of the mighty ocean.
He stirreth up the sea by his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through Rahab.
By his power the seas are suddenly gathered together, and his wisdom has struck the proud one.
With his own power God calmed the sea. With his wisdom he destroyed Rahab.
He used his power to control the sea. He used his wisdom to destroy Rahab, the great sea monster.
By his power he calmed the sea. By his understanding he smashed Rahab.
By his power he stilled the sea; by his understanding he shattered Rahab.
By his power he stilled the sea; by his understanding he shattered Rahab.
With his power he ·quiets [stills] the ·sea [or Sea; C the powers of chaos]; by his ·wisdom [understanding] he ·destroys [struck] Rahab, the sea monster [9:13].
The sea is calm by his power, and by his understanding he smiteth the pride thereof.
With his power he calmed the sea. With his insight he killed Rahab ⌞the sea monster⌟.
It is his strength that conquered the sea; by his skill he destroyed the monster Rahab.
By His power He stirred the sea, and by His understanding He crushed Rahab.
God’s power controls the sea. By his wisdom he destroyed Rahab, the sea monster.
By his power he disturbs the sea; and with his skill he shatters the sea monster.
He divides the sea with his power, and by his intelligence he smites its pride.
He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud.
He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud.
He quieted the sea with His power, And by His understanding He crushed Rahab.
By his power he stilled the sea, and by his understanding he struck down Rahab.
And by his power the sea grows calm; he is skilled at crushing its pride!
“All the buried dead are in torment, and all who’ve been drowned in the deep, deep sea. Hell is ripped open before God, graveyards dug up and exposed. He spreads the skies over unformed space, hangs the earth out in empty space. He pours water into cumulus cloud-bags and the bags don’t burst. He makes the moon wax and wane, putting it through its phases. He draws the horizon out over the ocean, sets a boundary between light and darkness. Thunder crashes and rumbles in the skies. Listen! It’s God raising his voice! By his power he stills sea storms, by his wisdom he tames sea monsters. With one breath he clears the sky, with one finger he crushes the sea serpent. And this is only the beginning, a mere whisper of his rule. Whatever would we do if he really raised his voice!”

By his power he stills the sea; by his wisdom he cut Rahab the great sea monster to pieces.
With his power he stirred up the oceans. In his wisdom he cut the sea monster Rahab to pieces.
By his power he churned up the sea; by his wisdom he cut Rahab to pieces.
By his power he churned up the sea; by his wisdom he cut Rahab to pieces.
He stirs up the sea with His power, And by His understanding He breaks up the storm.
He made the sea quiet by His power. And by His understanding He destroyed Rahab.
By his power the sea grew calm. By his skill he crushed the great sea monster.
By his power he stilled the Sea; by his understanding he struck down Rahab.
By his power he stilled the Sea; by his understanding he struck down Rahab.

By His power, He stilled the sea, quelling the chaos; by His wisdom, He pierced Rahab, evil of the sea;
He stirs up the sea with his power, and by his understanding he strikes through Rahab.
In the strength of him the seas were gathered together suddenly (By his strength he divided the seas), and his prudence smote the proud.
By His power He hath quieted the sea, And by His understanding smitten the proud.
