Jeremiah 6:2
I have likened the daughter of Zion to a comely and delicate woman.
The comely and delicate one, the daughter of Zion, will I cut off.
“I will destroy the Daughter of Zion (Jerusalem), the lovely and delicate one [so like a luxurious pasture].
The comely and delicate one, [Jerusalem] the Daughter of Zion, I will destroy. [To a pasturage, yes, a luxurious pasturage, have I likened her.]
I have likened the daughter of Zion to a comely and delicate woman.
You are like a lovely pasture, Daughter Zion.
Although she is beautiful and delicate, I am cutting off the daughter of Tziyon.”
Jerusalem is a lovely pasture, but shepherds will surround it and divide it up,
The comely and delicate one do I cut off, the daughter of Zion.
I have likened the daughter of Sion to a beautiful and delicate woman.
Jerusalem, you are like a beautiful meadow. But I will destroy you!
The lovely and delicately bred I will destroy, the daughter of Zion.
The lovely and delicately bred I will destroy, the daughter of Zion.
·Jerusalem [L Daughter of Zion; C the location of the Temple], I ·will destroy you, you who are fragile and gentle [or compare you to a delightful pasture].
I have compared the daughter of Zion to a beautiful and dainty woman.
“My people Zion are like lovely pastures.
The city of Zion is beautiful, but it will be destroyed;
Though she is beautiful and delicate, I will destroy Daughter Zion.
Jerusalem, I will destroy you. You are fragile and gentle.
I’ll destroy the lovely and delicate Daughter of Zion.
I shall liken the daughter of Zion to a comely and delicate woman.
I have likened the daughter of Zion to a comely and delicate woman.
I have likened the daughter of Zion to a comely and delicate woman.
The lovely and the delicate, the daughter of Jerusalem, I will destroy.
Helpless as a girl, you are beautiful and delicate—and doomed.
“Run for your lives, children of Benjamin! Get out of Jerusalem, and now! Give a blast on the ram’s horn in Blastville. Send up smoke signals from Smoketown. Doom pours out of the north— massive terror! I have likened my dear daughter Zion to a lovely meadow. Well, now ‘shepherds’ from the north have discovered her and brought in their flocks of soldiers. They’ve pitched camp all around her, and plan where they’ll ‘graze.’ And then, ‘Prepare to attack! The fight is on! To arms! We’ll strike at noon! Oh, it’s too late? Day is dying? Evening shadows are upon us? Well, up anyway! We’ll attack by night and tear apart her defenses stone by stone.’”

Lovely and delicate daughter Zion, you are ruined!
“The comely and dainty one, the daughter of Zion, I will cut off.
Jerusalem, I will destroy you, you who are fragile and gentle.
I will destroy Daughter Zion, who is as delicate and defenseless as a young maiden.
I will destroy the city of Zion, even though it is very beautiful.
I will destroy Daughter Zion, so beautiful and delicate.
I will destroy Daughter Zion, so beautiful and delicate.
I have likened the daughter of Zion To a lovely and delicate woman.
I will cut off the beautiful and fine ones, the people of Zion.
O Jerusalem, you are my beautiful and delicate daughter— but I will destroy you!
