“Their Redeemer is strong; the Lord of hosts is His name. He will most certainly plead their case and defend their cause So that He may bring rest to their land, But turmoil to the inhabitants of Babylon.
Their Redeemer is strong; the Lord of hosts is His name. He will surely and thoroughly plead their case and defend their cause, that He may give rest to [the land of Israel and to the Babylonian-enslaved nations of] the earth, but unrest to the inhabitants of Babylon.
But God will get them back. His name is the Lord God All-Powerful. He will defend them very strongly. He will argue their case so that he can let their land rest. But there will be no rest for those living in Babylon.”
But ·God is strong and will buy them back [L their redeemer is strong]. His name is the Lord ·All-Powerful [Almighty; of Heaven’s Armies; T of hosts]. He will surely ·defend them with power [take up their cause/case] so he can give rest to their land. But ·he will not give rest [turmoil] to those living in Babylon.”
But God is strong and will buy them back. His name is the Lord of heaven’s armies. He will defend them with power so he can give rest to their land. But he will not give rest to those living in Babylon.”
But their Redeemer is strong. His name is the Lord Almighty. He will plead for them and see that they are freed to live again in quietness in Israel. As for the people of Babylon—there is no rest for them!
And here’s more from God-of-the-Angel-Armies: “The people of Israel are beaten down, the people of Judah along with them. Their oppressors have them in a grip of steel. They won’t let go. But the Rescuer is strong: God-of-the-Angel-Armies. Yes, I will take their side, I’ll come to their rescue. I’ll soothe their land, but rough up the people of Babylon.
But God is strong and will buy them back. His name is the Lord All-Powerful. He will surely defend them with power so he can give rest to their land. But he will not give rest to those living in Babylon.”
But the one who will rescue them is strong. He is known as the Lord who rules over all. He will strongly champion their cause. As a result he will bring peace and rest to the earth, but trouble and turmoil to the people who inhabit Babylonia.
The One Who saves and makes them free is strong. The Lord of All is His name. He will work hard for their cause, so that He may give rest to the land. But He will not give rest to the people of Babylon.
But their Redeemer is strong; the Eternal, Commander of heavenly armies, is His name. He will take their side and defend their cause; He will give them rest in their own land. But He will shake the earth beneath the citizens of Babylon.
The again-buyer of them is strong, the Lord of hosts is his name; by doom he shall defend the cause of them, that he make the land afeared, and stir together the dwellers of Babylon. (But their Redeemer is strong, his name is the Lord of hosts; he shall justly defend their cause, and he shall trouble the inhabitants of Babylon, and make the land afraid/he shall justly defend their case, and make the land to rest, but he shall trouble the inhabitants of Babylon.)
